This is a horrible park to stay at... I wouldn't recommend it to my worst enemy, and we stayed here with our 5 children! The facilities, grounds, sites etc are all very dirty and they offer the smallest sites I have ever seen. It is therefore NOT cheaper than other parks! The people operating and working here are incredibly rude, crass and curt and have absolutely no idea about customer service!! The location of the park is also in a bad area, you can't walk around at night! I would never stay here again, and would advise anyone to stay elsewhere... it is also NOT child friendly. STAY AWAY!

This guest has failed to mention he registered as 2 adults/3child, not 2adult/5child, extended his original booking if premises is so bad Why?, received noise complaints by other guests, abused staff by calling them 'redneck queenslanders', never paid for extra children, upon checkout blocked both entry and exit points with his vehicle and camper trailer refusing to move, police had to be called to remove, but guest left once police were called.

My advice... stay away. We have stayed here a number of times over the year and we first stayed in a cabin. It wasn't bad considering the price, but very basic and not very comfortable.
We returned to cairns and had brought a van so we stayed on a caravan site.
- The camp kitchen is well equipped, but is never cleaned.
- They feel the need to have a leaf blower every morning, early.
- The sites are near communal housing, doesn't feel safe and you can hear the residents arguing, playing music until early hours of the morning.

What occurs outside the perimeters of our establishment has nothing to do with our park at all.
These comments are highly detrimental to business and are deemed to be reflective of our establishment.
The camp kitchen is cleaned on a daily basis.
We use a blower on a daily basis to maintain the grounds - never have we started the blower well before 10am!!!!

Wouldnt recommend this place to anyone We booked the family deluxe villa and it was clean but quite small when the sofa bed was extended out. Arrived with our five young children to find out there was no water and they didnt know when it would be back on. I asked for a refund and was refused and then abused and shouted at. Totally disgraceful receptionist and utterly disgusted with the way they behaved.

Unfortunately another tourist drove over a fire hydrant
@ 6:00pm on a friday night. To make repairs the water had to be turned off and a plumber called out. Water services turned back on @ 9:00pm that night. The receptionist in question had to take sick leave (stress) after the abuse that was received from this guest. This was not only verbal abuse, but a pen was thrown at the receptionist by the guest. Several other customers witnessed this behaviour.

We live in the outback 300 kms far from cairns and once a month we go in cains for some shopping and city life..for the last 2 years this was the only place we stayed at, the staff inside the office never been friendly with me and my partner even if they keep seeing us very often, but we said we can live without that as long as we don't have problems with the cabin, their prices are so cheap and that was enough for us. Until now we had no problems but from last time I won't go back again. We booked for 4 nights from their site web paid $60 a night, unfortunately the second day we receive a call and we have to come back at work a day before, as soon as we close the telephone call we tell them what was going on and if was possible to keep one paid night for the next time and they said no, so I asked if at least i could keep a night for one of the $38 cabin instead of losing all my money and they said no, I could not belive, i didn't want to be an exeption but I'm a regular costomer who comes every month for 4/5 nights and this situation never happened before. I was so sad that he prefered to keep 60 bucks for the night instead to keep a customer.

Me and my partner stayed here for 5nts, very cheap and got exactly what we paid for. Toilets and showers were clean. Didn't use cooking facilities or pool. The light are left on all night so does sometimes make it hard to sleep but not anywhere near a hard as the rain!!!!! Be warned if you enjoy your sleep and your hear when it rains don't stay. It's so loud. We had ear plugs in but still couldn't sleep. The 'locked' doors aren't really that secure.
The area is the worst, unless you have a car or you don't go out at night you will like it. It's a very rough area and neither of us felt safe when we walked to the takeaway.
Staff are very welcoming, friendly and helpful big plus.
