We have done the Tusa dive twice now. Once last year and again this year. Obviously we love it! Well organised with friendly, funny staff.
Lots of freedom to do as you please on board and on the reef knowing you are being watched and kept safe from above. (by a staff member watching from on top of the ship).
Love lunch time! They even catered specially to our vegan requests.

Cant wait to do it again!

Thank Jessica S

It was my first vacation to Australia with my husband. Tusa was such a great experience for us, especially me, a novice diver. My trainer Blair, was so helpful, and gave me a great sense of relief when we went under. Now I can't wait to get certified!

The boat was so well equipped and the staff so friendly, well timed, well co-ordinated and organized.

Really impressed with Tusa!

Would definitely recommend to all visiting Cairns.

Great day today with TUSA! Enjoyed the staff, especially Tania, who was an excellent educator for my introductory dive. While the snorkeling was good (seas a bit rough/windy which impacted visibility - and made the trips out and back a bit rough, many people sick), the diving was more fun/better. Typical nickel and diming based on my reviews of other Barrier Reef groups, but they only charged $2 for 2 seasickness pills (or you could have free ginger pills) and it was low pressure for the pictures and other items. I was disappointed that we only went to two spots on Saxson reef (as opposed to two reefs), but we were essentially the only ones there, and with only 30 or so people on our trip (and many diving), there was very little to no competition in the water.
Overall, I very much enjoyed the trek and would highly recommend them! Thanks to the staff for a great day.

You get what you subscribe for. The staff is well organized and very helpful, the corals are amazing and you can really enjoy observing the marine life. I saw a sea turtle and swam with her for like 5 mins, that was an unforgettable experience. I was hoping for spotting some white tip reef sharks but they were hidden sleeping. You get to meet interesting people on the boat who come from all around the world. The only downturn is that you have to pay for all extras, even a soft drinks. This little should be free as the price itself is quite high. The only thing for free is the water from tank and an ocean air. And here is one important recommendation to all: Don't forget to have a sea-sick / motion sick tablets well before you leave the port. The trip takes around 1:40 before you reach the reef and you might get a bit unwell from the waves. Besides that, the coral reef experience is great and very enjoyable!
