We booked the dive on line and were very happy with the experiences. In fact so happy with the dive we booked another for Christmas day on the boat on the way back to Cairns. The first day Larissa was our dive guide. She was enthusiastic and skilled. I had done only 12 dives prior and had the time of a lifetime on the great barrier reef. She monitored the group closely and my step son, who goes through a tank quickly, was paired with another diver to ascend safely. Then they gave him a bigger tank for the other dives. We thought we were signed up for 2 tanks, but got a third dive after lunch, which was great BTW. Plenty to eat if vegan or gluten free. I do not get seasick, but others do. The crew took good care of them. Take the "happy pills" provided if you even think you might get sick! They provide gallons of sunscreen on board. They have WARM fresh water rinse shower, what a luxury. I like the safety of checking you off as you go in and come out of the ocean. Records are kept of your dive for years. They have a lot of extra equipment on board and the staff was very attentive. This was the best part of my Australian vacation and I will dive with them again if I ever get back. I am a family physician/travel medicine physician and highly recommend TUSA Dive.

“The best way to explore the Reef”
Reviewed December 30, 2012

My husband & I wanted a great day on the reef and the crew of T6 exceeded our expectations. We had a great time snorkelling amongst the reef and I could not believe the amount of marine life we saw.

We were well fed the whole day to keep up our energy and we had sufficient time to explore both The Fishbowl at Hastings Reef and then Twin Peaks at Saxon Reef.

“Awesome dive on the Great Barrier Reef!”
Reviewed December 30, 2012

Tusa is a highly professional outfit. I personally have never been on a boat with an air-conditioned lounge, and on-board compressor, so they fill the tanks out at the reef, between dives. The rental equipment was excellent, The guides were enthusiastic and made sure we had a smooth experience. Of course the centerpiece of the three-tank dives was the Great Barrier Reef itself. A reef shark, turtles, lionfish, eagle rays, nudebranchs, and countless brilliant tropical fish. We liked it so much we signed up for the Christmas day champagne dive. Unforgettable.

“Excellent snorkeling experience with kids on Cairns”
Reviewed December 28, 2012 via mobile

This company has a brand new big boat (T6) and has all the infrastructure for dive and snorkeling.
The have special attention to the kids onboard and on the water snorkeling with them.
The spots a very careful chooses by them, so even if the day is not so shine they find a place where they can have nice dive and eve sun shine.
The food onboard is cold food but good enough to eat.
Just as a tip, if you easily feel sea sick take a medicine before leave (you can buy them onboard).

“Thats how it should be”
Reviewed December 27, 2012

Happy and experienced staff that really wanted to do the best for their passengers. Hadn't dived before I was going on the trip and was nervous about it but Vili really helped me and it was a awesome day! The food we got was also excellent.

After this trip I went on a couple of other intro diving trips but no one can compares with Tusa.
