Don't bother! And they open every night! Unbelievable ! Mostly selling the same cheap looking souvenirs to Asian tourists. I don't think this place or the stock changed in 10 years! And is the stuff genuine?? Then there is the cheap massage stalls which I suggest u avoid! U ask for a certain massage but then they tell u about the problems you have and soon you have doubled the price of the massage! And one stall sells Mareeba area coffee for double the price u buy at the coffee farm. As for the food court! Stalls mainly Chinese food piled up under heat lamps, waiting for someone to buy. The amount of food never seems to go down. Do they reheat for the next day or donate the piles of left over food to the homeless? But on the esplanade end is the best French patisserie and the other end the best crepes! Now it worth walking thru the markets to sample these foods! But go check out for yourself if you want but don't expect to much!

We visited the markets most nights for a very cheap massage and to enjoy the Churros for dessert! Mostly tourist items, but definitely worth a look.

If you're in Cairns you may as well visit the Night Markets. it doesn't take long to walk around. Very small.

One complete aisle of massage stalls and 3 aisles of not much else. The food court looked good though.

We found Rustys Market much better.

Very busy place but most stalls were repetitive, selling a lot of Australiana goods suitable for overseas tourists. There were the usual, T-shirts, caps, belts etc. There were one or two other typstop steals including men's clothing, jewellry, perfume etc which appeared to be of a fairly high standard. There were umpteen massage booths offering various massages at very cheap prices, no training certificates were available so I gave it a miss but there were many people availing of the service. There were no fresh produce steals which I felt was a bit disappointing. The food court was extremely busy, I didn't eat there as much of what was available was from self serve areas and I was reluctant due to the amount of handling by patrons the food was getting, albeit with spoons and tongs. Certainly would recommend it for a visit if you are in Cairns
