We rode down the hill on the train, with an informative tour. The views are spectacular and help you see the best of Cairns.

Lovely station and train. Lots of opportunities to take photos and admire the panoramic views. Excellent stop midway to check out waterfalls etc. Train whistles to let you know when to get back on. Alighting at Kuranda again a sweet station. Visited village to check out artisan shops. Shame not all souveniers originate in Australia. Excellent pie shop for quick lunch, veggie options available (try individual feta and spinach quiche)

We opted for the cable car up and the train back (wrong) there are some good stops on the way up to Kurunda to see the rain forest but the train back was awful as no air con and quite cramped over a 1.5 hour trip. Either cable up and back or go 1st class on the train.

Fun and relaxing way to see much of this territory. Beautiful train ride with stops for pictures. The tram ride down was incredible. Saw cockatoos in the wild, waterfalls and so much more

Was a great experience but was a little but crowded & very hot, probably should have picked a different time of year. Was enjoyable with the sightseeing stops & the gift shops...
