Place is located outside of town Centre– need to have own transport (if not happy to use public transport or pay$$ taxi fares). The place looks great from the outside until you enter the reception area – umm, ok, but the room left us speechless. Broken light switch, one air Cond control for all to use(3bdroom) spent time going to each room turning on and off or adjusting temp. Mold growing in showers, broken screen, the unit felt dirty, old and out dated. We had a unit overlooking the pool and we never saw pool being clean, garden debris floating around. Reception hours was only during day light hours. On our departure we were unable to use keys/cards to open front gate to place keys into safe as request on departing letter nor given a code to open it !on my never return accommadation list.

The management of this resort are more concerned with big noting themselves rather than doing their jobs!
Having said that the pools are beautiful (when clean) and the atmosphere is very pretty. The rooms are nice and practical (again when clean!! The units always require an extra mop/sweep/general clean when arriving).
Please don't be deterred by how ill mannered the people that work here are, it really is a nice place to stay.
Let's all hope Trinity Links gets decent managers, pool cleaners and room servicers in the future!!!

We just stayed at Cairns Trinity Links Apartments. The rooms were great, spacious and quiet, however the manager (Ross) was curt, to the point of rude, did not smile, made us feel very.....unwanted and had no customer service skills.
A bit of a way out of Cairns, great if you have a car, but stairs the only option.
Don't think I would return, due to the attitude of the manager. (Worldmark regular traveller)

Room Tip: Up stairs has no lift, 3 floors, so if you can't handle stairs ask for the ground floor.

We have just returned from a week with friends at Trinity Links & I must say the surrounds are beautiful, the gardens are well kept & lovely to look at. We were very disappointed to find the BBQ in our area was not working & we had to use one in another section of the resort (this we were told by other tenants had not been working for some time) we also discovered the spa pool was cold & was fed a line by the office that it had something to do with the Body Corporate?!?! but to our surprise were told yesterday that the spa would be warm by 7pm that night (we left yesterday for home) funnily enough school holidays started yesterday, seems the kids are more important. We were also surprised to discover on our arrival that we only had 6 bath towels 2 bath mats not sure how many face washers & 1 that's ONE tea towel (we were 6 adults) to do us for the week plus had to hire our beach towel for the pool. All this was to do us for the whole week...

Room Tip: This is a beautiful resort but a little too far out of town so you need a car. Hopefully you don't get people above you who move furniture around at all hours with lifting it because there doesn't seem to be any noise reduction from one floor to the next...

Travelled to Cairns with friends and stayed in a three bedroom apartment for four nights. The apartment was very spacious, clean and well appointed. The swimming pool is very large and set in beautiful gardens. As it was winter we were only able to have one swim as it was very hot on the day we arrived. Trying to get public transport into Cairns was a problem. We were told that a bus stopped every hour at the bus stop at the resort gates but after waiting an hour we rang for a taxi. We would have liked a TV in each bedroom but only the main bedroom had a TV. A minor issue. The apartment we stayed in also had undercover parking. We found the reception staff very helpful and pleasant.
