We took the Food Trail Tour because it was very windy out on the reef and we wanted to experience more of Cairns. The day started exceptionally well and just got better and better. The bus rolled up and we were introduced to Warrick and the passengers he had already collected. It was a nice ice-breaker and we were given a canvas bag in which to place our edible goodies that we would be purchasing at each stop. Each place we visited was fascinating and the owner/farmers took time to explain how they produced their goods and gave plenty of tastings - I particularly enjoyed the fruit wine maker and my husband the macadamia nut farmer. We thought we got good value for money, bought lots of nice gifts (although many we ate before we got home!) and thoroughly enjoyed Warrick's commentary about the area and his passion for his very special tour. Happy to recommend.
