We took the advice of trip advisor to find this awesome little Japanese noodle bar which in the end paid off tremendously. We are a family with 2 small children & when we arrived there weren't any tables available. We were told politely that there would be a small wait 4 a table which we didn't mind. It was kinda cool to sit there and take in the atmosphere b4 our meal. We where seated in 5 minutes. The lady that served us really made our experience with an outstanding attitude towards service in a society dominated by bad service. Little touches like making my 3 year old daughter feel welcome & special made my experience. The food was really really delicious & I cant recommend this little Japanese restaurant enough. Awesome Service, Great Value & Delicious Food make this the pick of all the restaurants we went to in Cairns :) P.S Cash Only

We entered this little piece of Japan after the exterior caught our eye and were welcomed enthusiastically by one of the staff.
The place was packed out and so we were told we'd have to wait for a table, but we didn't mind. The woman who was on the door was very apologetic about the wait and though we only waited for about 5 minutes max. she still bought us chilled green tea and kept apologising for making us wait.
The menu all looked amazing, but we eventually settled on our choices and when the friendly waitress came over she told us about the lunch special and saved us some money!
We made our orders and she yelled out to the open kitchen in Japanese which added a lovely bit of character to our visit. The food arrived very quickly and was incredibly delicious. Our side order took a little longer, but this was clearly written in the menu, and the wait was well worth it. We all wolfed the food down and had complimentary chilled green tea throughout the entire meal.
Brilliant service, amazing value for money and a warm and friendly atmosphere. Already recommended to three people and would love to visit again, even though tomorrow is our last day in Cairns!

This is a weekly meal stop for me! This delightful, authentic little city Japanese noodle bar is an absolutely treat! The service is quick and super friendly. The place is always busy so you may have to line up, but trust me the wait isn't usually very long. You are greeted with cold fresh ice tea. The traditional homemade gyoza is a must! Made on the spot it's the best Japanese gyoza I've had! The noodles are freshly made in beautiful broth and ridiculously cheap for only about $12. This place is charming, quick, authentic, consistently delicious and is a must when you visit Cairns!

This little Japanese restaurant was a surprise find . Service was excellent , complimentary iced green tea on arrival . Amazing flavoured broths and the Gynoza ( not sure of spelling ) dumplings were yummy , all meals very reasonably priced . We were allowed to take what we couldn't eat with us and was enough for lunch at our unit the next day .
