We had such an amazing day with Mark. He pointed out things of interest throughout the day. The scenery, lookout and bushwalk were breathtaking. We loved being in a small group and the day felt authentic. Lunch was great with a bbq and salads. The billy tea by the river and swimming hole was a once in a lifetime experience.
Just book a tour with these guys and you won't be disappointed

$of us joined the tour on the from Port Douglas 8th Jan. The guide Nev was excellent and full of information, really friendly and helpful. Food at the BBQ was plentiful and tasty. I would have liked to have spent a little more time walking in the rainforest but apart from that faultless day, saw crocs on the river cruise.

We took a day trip from Cairns to Daintree Rainforest and Cape Tripulation. We were picked up from our hotel at 7 am and were back at 6.15 pm. Our guide was Finn. This was an excellent way to experience the area without staying there overnight. We got to see two Crocodiles on the Daintree river cruise, we walked through the Rainforest with our guide and saw some small creatures we’ve never seen before. Our guide explained a lot about the forest and the animals and insects, and also other interesting things about how things work around there. We stopped for some beautiful sights and lookouts along the way. This trip is child friendly, given that your kids do not get easily motion sick. You can ask to sit in the front (2 seats there). We absolutely had a wonderful time!!! Can recommend this 110%!

We did the 3-day-rainforest-reef-skyrail
We had an amazing experience all 3 days. We felt this was the best way to experience the rainforest, Great Barrier Reef and the Kuranda village
Rainforest/Cape Tribulation - the driver/guide was very knowledgeable about the rainforest which made the whole day trip interesting.
GBR - Snorkelling in GBR is the best part of our Australia trip. Very clear water, saw colorful fish, the reef was not that colorful but pretty good. Saw a small shark as well. The food they served was excellent, they grilled the main entrees there along with few salads. The evening wine, snack and fruit platters was good too. The staff was super helpful. We were not expert swimmers, so the staff helped us with snorkeling. They made sure we felt comfortable. Both the reef stops were excellent. The second stop was even better.
Kuranda Village - Went up via the train. It was good with nice views of the rainforest, the falls. Don't expect too much though. The way back was supposed to be on the Gandola, but due to lightning they stopped the skyrail and transported us in Busses.
The Skytail staff was pretty helpful in sending us down in the first bus as we had to fly back to cairns that evening.BillyTeaSafaris refunded too for the Skyrail portion.

This is definitely the way to experience the awe inspiring rainforest. Neville our guide gave us an insight into a whole different world that has existed there for thousands of years. His extensive knowledge and friendly manner made the day interesting and enjoyable. Great river cruise, bbq lunch, delicious ice cream and tea with fruit at the creek just finished it off nicely. The small group size was ideal, a good mix and I’d recommend this tour for anyone who wants to see this unique part of Queensland.
