“A gem of a place!”
Reviewed September 1, 2013

Stayed at this truly luxury B&B in July, booking the Ash room. We had a wonderful welcome from Eleanor, David and their daughter. Our room was fantastic, huge and tastefully furnished - seating area with sofa and two comfortable chairs and modern television. The bathroom and fully fitted kitchen were of the highest quality - we felt we were staying in a luxury hotel. Nice touches everywhere - candles in bathroom and chocolates on arrival. We had our own private patio area overlooking the beautiful Welsh countryside and one night after being on a long trip to St. Davids, we went to the Deli in Narbeth and had champagne on the patio and watched the sun going down. The whole place is intimate, quiet and prettily landscaped. Breakfasts were a real treat with everything freshly cooked. Nothing was too much trouble for our hosts - they were both friendly and yet discrete. They certainly had a vision when they converted what was animal sheds into luxury rooms. Narbeth is a charming little town and Canaston Oaks is within easy reach of wonderful beaches and picturesque coastline. Who wants to go abroad? Cannot wait to go again.

Stayed for 2 nights recently as we were attending a family party nearby. We stayed in The Ash which has a large bedroom with sitting area, fully fitted kitchen and bathroom and even a private patio area. Everything was immaculate and the bed was one of the most comfortable ever!! Breakfast was delicious and the hosts were attentive without being intrusive. Will definitely stop here again when in the area.

We recently stayed at Canaston Oaks whilst visiting family in Wales. What an experience! The room was beautiful, spacious and spotlessly clean. The beds were exceptionally comfortable with Egyptian cotton linen. My husband and I both agreed that the breakfast was the best we have tasted in a hotel/bed and breakfast and we travel regularly. Eleanor, David and their daughter were really lovely people, very welcoming and accommodating. We shall definitely be returning!

We had a amazing time at Canaston Oak. The family run business was so loving and warming and it was like home away from home.
The service was amazing and we wanted for nothing. I would love to come back one day. I can't say a bad thing apart from WE MISS BEING THERE!

An impressive luxury B&B with warm and welcoming hosts. As we were shown to our room it was even better than expected, especially after a negative experience at a hotel close by! The rooms are very well decorated, clean, spacious (we stayed in the Rowan) and have gorgeous king size beds for a great nights sleep. The shower is modern and full of amenities, everything has been though of. The breakfast is delicious, excellently cooked and served with a smile! The only improvement I would make would be to make the wifi available in the rooms, however this would certainly not stop us from staying here again and wholeheartedly recommend. Narberth is a love lovely little town too. Thank you for such a lovely stay!

Canaston Oaks isn't just a B&B, it is an experience. I booked last minute for my Fiance, 3 year old daughter and I, and we had such a lovely time. Hosts were fantastic! The rooms are outstanding and everything from the bed to the fixtures and fittings suggest luxury without pretentiousness. Loads of little added extras included - bath salts, slippers, dressing gowns, truffles, all different kinds of tea, filter coffee, and more! There is a Jacuzzi bath, the most comfortable bed in the world, and a beautiful little sun room at the side of the room overlooking the most fantastic view. The owners have been very successful in being meticulous in their attention to detail. Outstanding breakfast, lovely relaxed atmosphere, exceptional. We will definitely go back as we have been spoiled now :) Only regret is not booking a few extra nights!

Room Tip: The Willow. The room is absolutely stunning and has a lovely little sun room on the side, overlookin...
