We visited on a quite day as we didn't have to que for many rides. It was very expensive to get in and the food was expensive too, book online and you can get a discount. Not many rides for adults but teenagers would probably enjoy it

We visited Oakwood while on holidays in Wales. What a super fun day. The only ride we didnt go on was 'Drenched' but it looked really exciting. Next time we'll bring change of clothes.

The grounds are really well maintained and are beautiful surroundings for a family picnic

Will definitely return

Since my last review of this place, there have been some developments. Some younger kids rides have been moved and re designed, and some new rides in the new developed area of Neverland. Skull rock is the main attraction which is a Log fume ride. It's a short ride, but quite wet and fun. Nice to see that some money has been spent to accommodate the younger kids.
Nice to see bilingual signs as well. Finally Oakwood reflects the languages used in West Wales. What about having Welsh themes to any future developments?
After saying this, the park in general still looks tired. Buildings need painting and paths need weeding. It was also disappointing to see the bobsleigh ride closed for the day.
The most thrilling rides were Speed, Bounce and Megaphobia. We visited Oakwood on a quiet Sunday at the end of June. No queues at all so we went on the most popular rides several times. Some of the party even went on Drenched before leaving, while others watched from the bridge afraid of getting wet. As the ride plummets into the lake, the water splashes over the onlookers on the bridge. Therefore it's wiser for you to go on the ride, rather than staying on the bridge to watch!
I would advise you to take your own food. The car park is not to far to go back and fetch your packed lunch. We ate in the caffe, and spent over £40 between the four of us. Definitely not value for money.
Entry to the park is cheaper if you book in advance, and even cheaper if you're in a party of more than 15 and contact them in advance.
We really had a good day, the kids enjoyed, and we'll probably call back in the future.

Overall a really good park, with fast and high rides that really are exhilarating, however the park is quite small, and needs to bring some new rides into the park, they also need to get more food facilities :)
