The restaurant is very small and is always hot inside, so we always opt for outside - but then the staff forget us!
The food is ok but not as good as it used to be when it first opened. Then it was delicious and the place seemed quaint... now it is just somewhere to go to eat when you can't get into your favourite restaurants cause they are fully booked!
A shame, as it used to be high on my list of faves around Brisbane, but I won't be rushing back to the Pearl Cafe anymore.

Smaller size servings to what we usually eat but beautiful food. Waitress always filling water glasses so no complaints here. Prices similar what you find these days. Food slightly unusual so would not suit fussy eaters. Cake was a massive slice, wish I'd shared but very yummy. Coffees on the small size.
Would go again.

We went for breakfast. Barista doesn't do skim milk (get real) but the long black I had was good. Tough luck if you want to watch your waist line and like skim milk. We both had the omelette which was nice but it came with 1 small slice of toast for an extra $3. Total for breakfast with 2 rounds of coffee was $54. You can do a lot better than that. We won't be back.

Thank you Pearl for a delightful evening of delicious zucchini flowers, sumptious Flinder's Island lamb and the extra effort of the special affogato. What made it extra special was my friend from Hobart was delighted to have Flinder's Island lamb, as it's all exported to the mainland! Another wonderful Pearl experience and we had the best seat in the place in the window! I look forward to visiting again soon.

Beautiful food in a lovely tasteful setting. Surprisingly quiet for how close it is to the GABA (during the ashes!). All the sides were spot on, the angus steak was perfect and the zucchini flowers lovely and crisp. Definitely a winner!
