“My one nite stay - wished I could extend it!”
Reviewed March 4, 2013

Our family of 5 arrived early before 11am after a long flight from KL and drove quite of a distant from Coolangata Airport.

The staff welcomed us with their sweetest smile ever and arranged the hsekeeper to hurriedly get a room clean up as they did not expect us to arrive earlier than the check in time...having seeing us exhausted, they tried their best to get the room readied with the rollaway bed within 10 mins!

Awesome!! We went up to the apt.... and I just fell in love with the cleanliness, smelled freshly new furniture ( I'm sure its a new refurbish unit). I am so glad... My family were happy indeed!
Oh ya. my husband and my sons loved the gym facilities! Everything is so new! It has small swimming pool... but hey, it doesnt matter... anyway... ;)

Next to the apt, there is a convenience stores, hence it is so convenient!!
Its walkin distant to the city... But as we only has 1 nite there... we decide to drive and park at the shopping mall.

Checkin out is also as easy as it is. Kudos to the friendly and polite staffs!

I stayed at Oxygen Apartments for a weekend in January 2013 to catch up with friends while my husband stayed for over a week on business. We had a one bedroom apartment which was very nice and spacious. It had a separate bedroom with firm but comfy bed, 2 way bathroom with toilet and shower over the bath. Soap, shampoo, conditioner, etc were supplied. Plenty of cupboard space with ceiling to floor mirrored doors. Large bedroom. Vacuum cleaner, iron, etc provided. Washing machine and dryer in a cupboard, a study area, lounge/dining/kitchen were open plan leading out onto the reasonable size balcony that had a table and 6 chairs with room to move but not a great view. Separate air con in bedroom to living area, TVs in bedroom and in Living area, Foxtel on TVs, internet in the room (and on the balcony), dishwasher, large fridge, microwave and even a sinkerator. Dining area had table and 6 chairs also, Lounge area had 2.5 seater couch, coffee table and entertainment cabinet with tv and dvd player. Still there was room to move. There was a great looking lap pool with spa and sauna and gym facilities as well however l did not go out there or use any of them. Security to get into the building was good, swipe door card for access if reception unattended. We never used the carpark available as we didnt have a vehicle.
The apartments are about 500m downhill to the railway station and a very short walk a little further downhill to the city centre - a not so easy walk up the hill for my old legs to get back though. There are bus stops in both directions right outside the front door.
Towels and linen were provided, a pub across the road which seemed really quiet, a 7eleven about 20metres down the street, pizza shops next to 7eleven and a bottle shop in the same group were all handy too. The only noise we really heard was from the occasional ambulance on the way to the nearby hospital but we never heard any late at night.
I would recommend these apartments for anyone - people with young children or for business as very quiet, solo, couples, small groups, would all enjoy staying here.
Note these are apartments so no room service - rooms are cleaned once a week and not serviced daily.

Booked at the last minute after we weren't happy with accommodation else where. Very happy with the deal on wot if and were offered an upgrade when the room size we requested was booked out. Apartment had everything we needed, beds were comfortable, clean bathrooms, nice pool and garden view. Good walk down hill to the city, but beware the hill climb back if you have mobility issues.

Stayed here for 3 nights. Read the reviews that were positive and happy to agree with those reports. The room has minimal furniture but OK for a short stay. The rooms were modern and a good size and the apartment we stayed in was facing inside the compound so there was little street noise. It was close to the free bus and also an easy walk to the city. Staff were helpful. I would recommend this as a good place to stay.

Room Tip: Anything on the inside away from the road makes for less road noise and lovely sunsets.

We had a 3 bed for 2.5 months due to demobbing from PNG for arrival of our 4th child, also a 2 bed for when the outlaws staying for 4weeks. Good pre arrival service, very friendly and helpful reception staff, no decent discounts for longer term rentals, should probably of put a deposit on it for the overall cost, but city pre furnished living is expensive!

There were 9 of us including 2 under twos and 1 87 year old. We had one 3 bed apartment and were given 1 loft style apartment. The large apartment was very good although not did not have a very well equipped kitchen for the number of people (1 large, 1 small pan and a frying pan) we over looked the pool and did not experience any problems with noise. The plan was to have one baby in each apartment however in the loft apartment there were steep open tread stairs beneath which was another staircase so a long drop for a toddler who could wriggle through the gaps. Lovely apartment for a couple with a personal garage under the apartment but no good if you have a crawling baby or small toddler. Short walk down hill to the CBD and the river. We would stay here again. We had no problems with the air con, all beds were comfy although the wooden frames caused bruises! We stayed for 5 nights. The pool was very cold, which was a shame as our little ones loved it but had to be dragged out when their lips started going blue.

Room Tip: Ask for one overlooking the pool, great view over the city and are quieter.
