The Golden Barbeque is one of our favourite lunch time stops in the Fortitude Valley. The food is always tasty and good value for money. Dishes which are great include 'beef brisket', any of the pork/chicken, rice and egg dishes or soups (the soups are great in winter).
It is not really a restaurant as the decore, tables and chairs are more food court style rather than for a restaurant.
You can't book a table and it can be quite busy at lunchtime, which means you may need to wait 5-10 minutes to get a table. It is worth the wait. There are also more traditional Chinese dishes...but yet to have these as prefer the all in one dishes for lunch.
