“Tasty Thai”

We had a fine dinner here. Soft shell crab and larb moo were excellent. Pawpaw salad was HOT, but very good. Great value and easy to get in and out on a Friday night.

“Excellent authentic Thai”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 3, 2013 via mobile

The food here is just as you get it in Thailand, it's not toned down or altered for Ozi tastes like most places. It's not a fancy restaurant with fancy service, but more so a backstreet restaurant more focused on the quality of the food at very very reasonable prices. Have been going here for years and will continue doing so

“Doesn't live up to reputation”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 1, 2013

Had a quick bit to eat here with a couple of friends on way to a gig at the Tiv. Had heard great things. Coconut prawn entree was very generous. The laksa style coconut soup was tasteless and needed the salt & chilli. The squid stir fry and veges was ordinary. Squid was very rubbery and not a lot of it either. Spring roll entree ok but nothing out of the ordinary that you find in a hundred other places. Not a fan of the order at the counter and get a number on a stick and go and sit at your table. The drinks menu isn't large either. White wine was a choice of about 2 - 3. Why bother.

“Great spicy Thai food!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 23, 2013

Great spicy thai food with plenty of flavour. Ask for the curry to be extra hot if you like the heat.

Really cheap. So cheap I couldnt believe the bill at the end.

Definitely going back there.

“The most authentic Thai Food in Brisbane”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 20, 2013

I was recommended by a friend to try THai WiRat in Chinatown. Honestly, it is the most authentic and delicious thai food I've tried in Brisbane. They have a wide range of curries, salads and other food. My favorites are Papaya salad, Bamboo shoot salad and Grilled Chicken. Restaurant is rather small, but service is quick , staffs are friendly, the price is very reasonable.
I've taken a few friends with me for the last few months, they all loved it and kept going back every few weeks.
The only drawback would be expansive parking fees which costed me 20$ for 1 hr parking on a weekday. But you want to try a really great thai taste, it's a must place to go.
