Great afternoon. Food was good and despite it being very busy with many group bookings the staff were very attentive.

Thank Paul K

Tonight we had dinner here and what a beautiful position overlooking the Brisbane river. The lights at night gave us a spectacular view. We had a seafood buffet and it had to be one of the nicest meals I have had for a while. The seafood was fresh, the hot foods hot and the meats tender. Wow ,we also had cocktails at the Pav Bar it was to finish on a high with the selection of desserts. We will be coming back and would recommend this to everyone.

When dining at a restaurant in a hotel with the standing and high quality of the Stamford on the Plaza, maybe your expectations are high. Nevertheless, I do expect hot food to be served hot and I expect a decent coffee. Unfortunately warm [at best] food and terrible coffee will not get me back to try again.

We stayed at Stanford Plaza for St. Valentine's weekend and had buffet breakfast at The Brasserie on the River. The selection was good, and I especially loved that poached eggs were available and cooked to perfection with liquid egg yolk inside (hard to do in a buffet and rarely available). Really enjoyed seating outdoors watching the passing boats.

Food was terrible! Bought the Seafood buffet as Christmas present and was embarrassed at the poor quality of food. Seafood was an aside issue rather than main event. No crab, only a plate of prawns and oysters. Meats were a choice of two, both covered in Asian style sauce, some rice and steamed vegetables! Meat was tough to match the bread rolls.
The desert bar was shocking! Ice cream was a plate left out without any visible means of keeping it frozen so it was liquid?
fruit flies were constantly buzzing around our table and they were enjoying a feast on the cheese and fruit platter, none of which were covered.
We travelled 90kls to "enjoy" this buffet - never again!!!
