You can't judge a book by its cover and I've had some outstanding food in basic surrounds, but this place looks basic on arrival and stays that way all through dining. The only bright thing about this place is the fluorescent lighting. Food quality would have passed in 1970 but is no where near the standard of most suburban Thai these days. Give it a miss and try somewhere else on this entertainment strip.
