We booked in for 8 nights over the Christmas / New Year period. We had booked a two bedroom but on arrival we were put in to a 3 bedroom because there were no 2 bedroom apartments available. That was fine but we were told not to use the 3 rd bedroom or we would be charged for it. I feel that if we were given that as a last option we should be able to use it how we please.

The layout of the apartment we had was great. Two bedrooms, bathroom, laundry, kitchen/lounge downstairs with a balcony. Upstairs we had the main bedroom, bathroom, a huge WIR and a large balcony.

The apartment however was not clean!! It is quite old and really in need of a refurbishment. The appliances are dated and bathrooms quite dirty. (Room 4019)

The location was quite good with the Story Bridge hotel close by, a couple of cafés and a bottle shop. Ferry stops were only a 5 minute walk away. There are no supermarkets close which was an inconvenience.

The gardens and pool area are lovely and the apartments facing the river have a great view.

Overall we were happy with our stay but don't expect anything special. It is comfortable, in an ok spot and quiet.

Stayed for 4 nights, same towels for 4 days, there was blood stains on the pillow, mould around the taps, the drains stank, ice cube tray was broken and my friend cut her finger on it. Not to mention the toilet seat broke when I kneeled on it to get a tissue. Very loud at night time. Also no numbers to call reception. Very bad for children as there is no stickers on the glass doors. So they can run straight into them. And it was disgusting that there was hair left in the drain if the shower, cleaners need to lift there game. Horrible place.

My family and in laws stayed at Bridgewater Terraces for 7 nights. We stayed at an upstairs 3 bedroom apartment in a building with a lift. The apartment was spacious enough to accommodate for everyone and my kids enjoyed playing in the downstairs pool. The location of the apartment was convenient, being in Kangaroo Point just over the bridge but within walking distance of restaurants, a deli, a bottle shop and a convenience store. The CBD is a short one stop Cityhopper ferry ride away (Holman St stop) or about 25 to 30 mins by foot.

Overall it was an enjoyable stay at Bridgewater Terraces. However the cleaners did not do a good job, either in doing a proper clean up before our check-in or during the visit when a weekly clean was scheduled. Besides changing the sheets / towels I don't think the cleaner did much else. There were hairs on the bathroom floor and gunk around the taps in the bathroom. Basically I tried to avoid touching any surfaces in the bathroom if I can. Since we did the dishes and emptied the bin daily it was disappointing that the cleaners were so slack.

Room Tip: Ask for a room in a building with a lift if there is anyone in the party who cannot walk up multiple...

The problem was the sites advertisement was misleading it said A/C and was not, only lounge and with an old A/C wth broken vents and hot bedrooms. It was cooler outside than in the apartment. I contacted the A/H managers who could do nothing except say run A/C for 20 minutes which did nothing. The owners have not even contacted me, ended up paying for a nights accommodation even though could not stay and had to go to other accommodation.

We stayed in a two-bedroom apartment in January 2012, not 2013 as the date for the review says, so this review is a little late, but I wanted to put in a review to say how nice it was to have so much space and such a lovely outdoor area when staying in a central location with kids.

We were on the top floor which meant we had great views. We appreciated the space and how the bedrooms were set a the opposite end of the apartment to the lounge room. The kitchen was spacious and we loved the laundry room, such a good thing to be able to do washing when you travel with kids.

The one thing we would have loved was an elevator as it was quite a climb from the car park to the apartment with two little kids and whatever luggage/shopping bags we had to take up as well. For the price though, we found the apartment to be good value, and the outdoor area with the pool is excellent. It's such a nice stroll on the boardwalk to the restaurants a little further up the river, or a simple walk to the ferry that takes you directly into CBD. There is a big park and playground nearby and as there is free, undercover parking it makes it easy to stay here with a car.

We will definitely consider coming back.

We have just finished our stay of 5 nights here & couldn't have been happier.
Our family of 5 (2 x adults, 2 x children & 1x infant) were delighted when we arrived to see that we had been upgraded to a 3 bedroom apartment (which made our lives so much easier) but I will never forget that view! Simply spectacular!
It is a short walk to the free ferry service which meant that we didn't pay for public transport the whole time we were there.
What was truly amazing was that despite the fantastic city location, it was so quiet & peaceful.
The pool & spa were well received by my family also.
Would recommend to families!

We had a 2 bedroom apartment for 150/night which included wireless internet and parking. This also included a weekly light cleaning and change of linen. A great deal for families considering location and the view. We were in room 2011 on the 2nd flr which was a little bit of a pain considering there was no elevator and we had to lug a double stroller up the stairs. We were with my 6 month old and 2 year old.
The beds were fairly comfortable, though not like the Sheraton sweet sleepers, but you still got a good nights sleep. A few of the kitchen ammenities were a little old and could use some updating, but they had everything you'd really need to make a meal for a family of 4.
The view of the river from our balcony was fantastic. The apartment was a little dated but clean and well kept. The grounds were very lovely and the appartment had direct access to the beautiful walking path right by the river.
I took the ferry to work each day which was 7 minute walk to Holman St ferry which came very frequently.
The management staff is very friendly and helpful.
Overall, my family fully enjoyed our stay at Bridgewater Terraces and would definitely stay there again.
