Offered so much, but failed to deliver. Check in was a disaster, breakfast far too difficult, soap and towel removed from room on nightly turn down, drinks and food in amazing funky bar too hard to order and receive. Paid for pamper pack that was available free in the room. For the price It could be so much better with attention to detail...sorry not again

Because I will have taken them all home with me! Without a doubt, they were the nicest, most helpful and deferential/courteous staff I have come across in all my travels (what can you expect - they're from Brisbane!). The room we were in was very comfortable and the hotel, although not in the city centre is blessed with a precinct of restaurants (go straight to the dessert place - their chocolate desserts are to die for). Downside - once out of the precinct, there really aren't any shopping facilities (apart from the Ferrari dealership!), you could be put off by the noise from local building development (although the hotel can hardly be blamed for this) and, if I'm going to be really picky, the hotel could probably do with its yearly repair any time now - a lot of the doors, drawers and lift panels had scuff marks that need attending to, the air-con in our room could have been quieter, and the door to the bathroom could do with being able to be closed without a deafening clunk - but I'm being hyper-picky here. Can't say enough good things about the staff, so stay here!

It has been some time since I last stayed at the Emprium Hotel in Brisbane and I can only say that this hotel just keeps getting better (yes hard to believe!). The rooms are simply outstanding (still as new) as are the facilities that the hotel offers. However what makes this hotel so different is the staff - they never miss a beat and are genuinely friendly. It is a real credit to the management at the hotel. Nothing is too hard and the motto of ..."arrive as a guest and depart as a friend" could really apply to the Emporium Brisbane. By the way the local precinct is now home to many great restaurants and bars too - all walking distance from the hotel.

Flawless. Everything about this hotel is well done and the icing on the cake is the service. Everyone from valet, concierge, reception were genuine, warm and kind. We won't stay anywhere else in Brisbane now.

Don't get me wrong, the Hotel is much better as the Hilton were I staid before - and at 200 - 250$ I would rate it 5* - but at nearly 400 inkl. internet and parking it's just too expensive for a place which even doesn't offer regular breakfast, just a voucher for the cafe nearby.

It's fine to stay a night - but yu should have a car to visit downtown, to go to restaurants...
