I was looking for a cheap hotel in Brisbane city center.
This one has good value. It is 5-10 minutes walk from the train station (behind train station, so not exactly in city center, but rather close), and the area was not noisy.
There is a kitchen together with the room, with a microwave oven and fridge.
The bathroom was ok, although there was no cap in the tub so no way to take a bath - not sure if it was usual or if it was due to severe drought in the country.
The bedroom was quite large, the bed was ok.
Only drawback is security: the door was open to the street and most of the time, nobody at reception. The reception guy told me that the manager was on holiday so maybe when he's there it's better.
