There are two buildings worth a look - the cathedral itself and the smaller chapel to the side. The cathedral is pretty much the same size and shape as most cathedrals although it is obviously fairly new and rather unadorned. The stained glass is lovely and some of it is very modern. The marble font is very unusual, having a bowl for babies and a pool for adults. These are joined by a very attractive marble sculpture.

The chapel is much smaller and older. The main feature is the wooden sculpture of St Mary and it is certainly different to any other religious sculpture we've seen and definitely the highlight of the visit.

This is a good example of the work of Pugin. It is an attractive chapel but the highlight is the wood sculpture of St Mary of the Cross. This modern sculpture is worth a visit by anyone interested in modern spiritual art.

This is another of Brisbanes old churches that manages to old onto its old world charm and heritage. A calming place to visit and get your thoughts.

right in the middle of brisbane you find this beautiful church - good gothic architecture, its just the place to rest and meditate after a days shopping.
