One of the best sporting venues I have ever been to.
You can watch the Bulls for free and the Lions for under $30 dollars.
Take your own picnic lunch as the food and drink prices are extremely high. Free public transport is included in your entry price.

Great facility and easily accessible. Wonderful Brisbane City Council bus service from several spots in the city for main events. Watching a test match here is always a delight!

Enjoyed our day at the cricket, just a shame about the actual game on the day. Atmosphere was excellent, our seats a great vantage point.

The Ashes were at the Gabba in January 2011 after the Brisbane Floods. It was a great atmosphere and proceeds from the ticket sales went to the Flood Appeal.

The Gabba is a very good cricket stadium, the food and drinks were reasonably priced and easy access from all areas. However the signage to get to the upper areas is limited but the ushers are very helpful. We went to a day night international, free transport on buses and trains. Only a 10 min walk from Southbank. I recommend seats on the western side as they are out of the son in the afternoon.
