“Modern and convenient”
Reviewed August 5, 2014

The rooms are your standard, bed, desk, and lounge chair configuration. Everything you need in a modern setting... I didn't realise there were electric blinds until the morning. I had a room with a wheelchair accessible bathroom which I can see for someone with mobility problems would've been great, but for me took away from the feel of the room.

Having lived in Brisbane I know that area to be a bit of "dead" part of the CBD. However it is only a couple of blocks from the Shopping District. A couple of blocks to the Botanic gardens and the riverside precinct with all the restaurants. So it is a quiet spot within walking distance of everything you need to have a good stay in Brisbane.

Working away from Brisbane City, I have had a couple of stays at this clean and new hotel ever since it first opened earlier this year when I had the time to drop by in the city itself.

As it is fairly new, its rooms are clean with very comfortable beds. When it first opened, there were few minor issues with the iPod docks (lightning connectors) not working, loose attachments of the shower doors but there had been no major issues. And all matters were attended to very expediently by the friendly staff even at 2 a.m. In the morning.

The views from the hotel room are nothing to shout about though. There is a residential apartment to the back of the hotel and possibly another tall buliding coming up soon next to the hotel.

Facilities wise, it has free wifi in its lobby but there isnt much space to hang around and peruse the free wifi. You can purchase wifi access at a rather affordable rate for access in your room with very generous data cap. It has a mini gym with treadmills and exercise bikes at the top floor of the hotel. You can have a very good viewed the Brisbane skyline from the gym. It's open 24 hours and towels are provided. If you do not think the gym is enough, there is a couple of membership based 24 hours gyms e.g. Anytime Fitness within walking distance of the hotel. Food wise, for convenience sake, while you were working through the night, there is a 24 hours kebab shop just 2 doors down away from the hotel. Otherwise you can head to the nearby pier where you can find a couple of fine dining options and renowned restaurants.

The rooms were priced fairly low and represented awesome value for money when it first opened, possibly to build up a customer base. A few months down the track, even with increasing price, outside of super peak seasons, I think the rooms are reasonably priced and still represent a value for money if you are looking for a decent 24 hour service hotel.

Clearly a new hotel, the rooms are nice and decent sized for the price. The service is great, the staff at the front desk are very friendly and eager to please.

Location wise, it's close to everything in the city, particularly the nearby botanical garden and walk along the river. It is not in the thick of the action, which possibly is a benefit.

Recently opened, and in a great central part of Brisbane... walking distance to the city-center shops, botanic gardens and the river. Lots of restaurants near-by, and being 2 blocks from the center its still nice and quiet in the morning & evenings. Also exceptionally easy to access by car, with exits to the main roads leading to other parts of Brisbane within 3 blocks.

Currently (June 2014) located next to a construction site, but we didn't get disturbed at all by noise, and we were there mid-week. Be sure to ask for a high floor so you can take in the sites of Brisbane, we had views of the river from our room.

Amenities in the room were great, and fit-out is modern.
As ex-locals, returning to Brisbane to visit family and friends, this hotel was a great find and we'll be sure to return in the future.

Room Tip: Ask for a higher floor to get the views of the river and the botanic gardens

Arrived late and left early the next day. Met by Concierge both times. Very helpful and polite. Room was excellent. Shower and water pressure good. Room and bed was just fabulous. Close to fine dining and entertainment and shops. Obviously city building views but up on the 23rd floor was nice and removed from all external noise. Privacy from neighbouring accommodation??If you can see them then they probably can see you. Would highly recommend a stay overnight or longer. Very clean neat and tidy and new.

Room Tip: Higher floors less noise from outside. Privacy with neighbouring accommodation must use blinds.

This is the place to go to enjoy friends, good food and great staff. The service was excellent. Quite casual but very professional. Maybe a little difficult to find but when you do it is worth going for a night out.
Staff were exceptionally pleasant and could not do enough for us
