Positive its very close to the Wesley Hospital. Good location. The rooms are very tired and fespwrayly nerded re painting with refurbishing totally. Mattress was very old. No dishwasher. A vacum cleaner to use in unit would be great to kerp tidy until service of aparment on day seven. Under ground parking has a very low ceiling for larger vehicles its risky.

Located a short walk from the Wesley Hospital, which will be especially appreciated by hillclimbers . There is apparently a hotel minibus for those not requiring a rehab workout.
The units themselves are clean and reasonably well appointed.

My husband and I stayed for two nights whilst attending medical appointments at the Wesley hospital. It's a room, a full kitchen and bathroom, yes it's not five star, but it's a place to stay when needing to attend hospital. Free parking which was a bonus. Can't do anything about the very steep hill you walk up to the hospital. We were able to walk to Toowoong village. Staff were very helpful and flexible.

Do not stay here if it is raining, the car park floods and you cannot get your vehicle out.

I normally do not write negative reviews, however I really need to let people know about the car park and the rude hosts.

In a very stressful situation with my elderly mother in hospital, we had to check out suddenly as the car park was flooding.

The very RUDE woman in reception proceeded to have a 5 minute "Social" conversation with some one whilst I stood at the counter waiting to be served.

The bed and pillows were terribly uncomfortable and the cleaning left a fair bit to be desired.

The laundry was shared the bathroom along with a toilet, the 2nd bedroom had an ensuite.

There was a very steep hill to walk up to the Wesley Hospital.

There was also a lot of traffic noise.

Very disappointed as strangely there were good reviews.

Room Tip: Do to go there, much better around the area

Management C, Manager at Chasely Apartments Brisbane, responded to this reviewResponded April 21, 2017

Management regrets and apologises for your inconvenience and subsequent disappointment you encountered during your recent stay at our hotel.

If we may add some context, your stay coincided with the passing of Cyclone Debbie over Brisbane, and the entire city was experiencing torrential rain, high winds, and uncharacteristic flooding. The northern end of our lower carpark is vulnerable to flooding under these rare conditions and accordingly signposted to avoid any potential guest vehicle damage. Flooding does not occur on a regular basis during lesser adverse weather events. In this instance Police had also closed off the adjacent street to all traffic due to the potential dangers, and as a consequence hotel vehicle access was also temporarily blocked. Additionally, we provide a courtesy shuttle service up the "very steep hill" to Wesley Hospital but ourselves were landlocked on this occasion.

The majority of our quests attend the Wesley Hospital for either treatment or in a support role eg spouse, relative, friend, etc. We have many regular guests and management encourage and enjoy a warm and comforting rapport with them as they too can be in a "very stressed situation" as you were unfortunately with your elderly mother. The "RUDE" woman at Reception was in all likelihood in conversation with one of these persons. These severe weather events inevitably create challenges in the management of guests and property, and whilst your wait at Reception was regrettable, we attempt to deal with all matters in an efficient and successive manner.

Thank-you for your other comments regarding amenities and housekeeping. Guest feedback is always welcome and provides us with an opportunity to identify and hopefully improve in these areas.

My husband and I stayed here for two nights in May so my husband could attend a specialist appointment at the Wesley hospital. The hospital was a 5 minute walk up a steepish hill. Not too bad. We were given a room on the top floor overlooking the river. The room was a little tired looking however quite spacious. The bed wasn't the best we've slept on however it wasn't the worst either.
There was a full kitchen with dining table and ok chairs. The couch wasn't too bad.
There was a washing machine and dryer in the bathroom which was a real bonus.
There is undercover parking however the roof is very low at 1.8m.
This is the only accommodation that we have stayed at that offers genuine free wifi.
Thanks for that.
