Anzac Square is a beautiful reflection of peace and quiet within the city. It is a place of Remberence of our couragous men and women not only passed but serving and also home but with battle scars. To our Anzacz thankyou and I salute you.

Thank Jan M

This is in the heart of the CBD, and is quite the oasis for the foot weary and over indulged shopper. Come one, come all, this is just the place to take the load off, and literally watch the world go by. The trees provide the shade, the position between a number of historic buildings and sited between Ann and Adelaide Streets, allows a welcome breeze as the temperature climbs. As this is a memorial of soldiers fallen, it is a place where anyone can come and spend what spare time they may have to reflect on how fortunate we are to be there because of that ultimate sacrifice......
They shall grow not old as we that are left grow old.
Age shall not weary them,
nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun
and in the morning
We will remember them.
Rest in peace ANZACS and in the knowledge, no one forgets what you did.

Picturesque park in the center of Brisbane, a good spot to include in your sight seeing, close to Central train station.

had a picnic with freinds under the shady trees, very pleasant sitting and people.watching, many native birds ,only spoilt by the many smokers looking for somewhere to smoke and throw away there butts
