Free exhibition of Brisbane History. Covers the development of the City. Gift shop is great. Small charge to visit the top of the Clock Tower. Check out the recently renovated auditorium.

Visited the museum today to see the Nasa Human space experiment ...what a brilliant display of space memorabilia & a part of an exciting time in history. We also wandered around the museum after visiting the exhibit to see a large display of other artifacts not space related.
Cafe on site, plenty of seating available to rest.
Was abit noisy with lots of kids running around but once away from main foyer it was quieter.
Parking available on site with reasonable rates. Lifts available if not wanting to take stairs & wheelchair friendly

Hi melissawI7052BE,
Queensland Museum at South Bank does have a wonderful display of exhibitions, including their current NASA exhibition. We hope that you will visit Museum of Brisbane l during your next visit into the city as we offer contemporary exhibitions, workshops, tours, talks and special events that share the story of Brisbane and Brisbane artists.

Museum of Brisbane is located on level 3 of City Hall, King George Square. Whilst you’re here you can enjoy a Clock Tower Tour, City Hall Tour along with having a look at the wonderful local products we have at the MoB Shop. We hope to see you at the Museum soon!

Museum of Brisbane’s an interesting one in that it’s run quite differently to the other museums and public galleries in town. As a result they often have really interesting, quite niche, exhibitions that the others wouldn’t. And their collection is amazing.

Lately it’s started to feel a bit like a tourism ad for Brisbane though - a bit beige and lacking substance. Here’s hoping they get back to doing what they used to do well - telling small but awesome Brisbane stories in really interesting ways.

Hi Cazmac26,
It’s great to have regular visitors of the Museum including yourself. At Museum of Brisbane we aim to provide opportunities for art, culture and history to be experienced, therefore we’re always looking for bold ways to share our city’s stories, and to shine a light on the creative people of Brisbane.

The Museum is dedicated to supporting the city’s many talented artists, designers, writers, historians and storytellers. You can experience this through exhibitions, including our current exhibition BRISBANE ART DESIGN (BAD), until 11 August. We look forward to you visiting us again soon.

Great deal of history... Of the building, and therefore the town. We took the clock tower tour as well, which was certainly worth our time.
