“Comfortable, Convenient & Central”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 27, 2006

We stayed here for three nights in a one bed room apartment on the third floor. The first few floors are basically car park with only a few apartments that face the street. The advantage of this was being able to park right outside our door. However we did not get a view other than of the interesting street scene from our reasonably sized balcony. The pool was closed for the first day of our stay for flooring renovations and unfortunately this continued to be extended by the management and we did not get to use during our four day stay. However we did sneak a look and it looked very nice.

Our apartment was well appointed with a good kitchen, dining/lounge with study corner. The bathroom was a good size with a laundry tucked away at the end. The bedroom through sliding doors with direct access to the balcony had a mirrored door wardrobe that was actually a large, walk-in storage room.

The apartments are conveniently located to Brisbane CBD shops, the river CAT (public transport at very cheap $), riverside walks, Southbank and the gardens. We used Brisbane as a base to take day trips to the Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast and hinterland as well as sight seeing in Brisbane. This plan with our hire car worked out well.

These are brilliant apartments. They are huge two bedroomed, finished to a very high standard with a large balcony. The complex has a heated swimming pool, gym and sauna and this added to the feeling of luxury. Very highly recommended and very good value at AUD$250 per night.

This is a great hotel if you want to settle in and stay a few nights. Lovely well equipped open plan kitchen, dining and living room with two quiet bedrooms with plenty of storage, two bathrooms and laundry facilities. A largish balcony with table and chairs made it very pleasant for dining al fresco. The furnishings are contemporary and funky.
The location is very good. NOt noisy near a station as up on Ann Street but within walking distance of everything. Undercover parking is an added bonus. I can imagine that in summer it would be nice to come back to then pool then dinner on the balcony - but in winter it was a great choice for the reasons stated. Having stayed at other self-catering hotels in Brisbane, I'd choose this one again next time.
