Service poor & slow!!
Ordered a chicken tika masala and it tasted like tomato soup partners was also terrible. Waste of money for poor service and rubbish food. Dissapointed

Does mellow and warm mean the same thing? I dunno I just felt they summed it up!
It's a cosy little Indian/Nepal restaurant situated on Brunswick St, New Farm and that's a sweet little location!

Firstly, the staff are very polite and and happily stand back and let you take your time in choosing, but defenitley don't forget you're there.

The dishes are very reasonably priced, around 3-4 dollars cheaper than the average curry house AND the dishes are bigger in terms of meat portions so go careful.

Overall, great atmosphere and tasty generous portions make for a cosy little evening.

Oh and it's BYO 'wine' only. Bottle shop right next door too!

Not up to the level that we are used to in London, but for a Friday night curry, this worked very well. They have a cheapish wine list and the service was friendly and efficient.

The food was tasty and well cooked.

Would happily return.

This restaurant was byo but they told us we could bring cider and then after I had bought the cider at the liquor store next door they told us it was only byo for beer and wine and they never told us we could have cider!!! So the liquor shop guy said he would exchange it for a bottle of wine and warn future customers.
We then had a banquet and tried 6 different curries. The food tasted good but not fantastic.
Later on that night the 5 of us had horrible reflux and indigestion. The food was too acidic or something an we all kept wanting to vomit. First we thought it was the wine but we shared one bottle between 5 so each person had about a glass!!

This place has delicious food. The servings are large and represent pretty good value for money. The service is always excellent and the staff are always very friendly (we've been as a couple many times and with groups on a handful of occasions). I don't live in New Farm any more but I still quite often go out of my way to visit this place. The décor, music and overall ambience are perfect for this restaurant. While the Indian food is fantastic, I've never tried the Nepalese offerings, so I can't comment on those.
