“A great Sunday lunch”
Reviewed April 7, 2013

Went there for a late Sunday lunch. Had entrees and main for 4 - myself, partner, our daughter and her friend.
Food was excellent, service prompt and attentive, though some detailed knowledge was missing when we asked our waiter about the composition of a pasta dish. The waiter merely re-read the menu and left us to guess the correct response. However that was not as major concern.
Drinks came promptly as ordered and overall pricing was very competitive.
4 entrees, 4 mains, 4 beers, 1 chocolate milk and 2 coffees. All up $121.
I shall return.
For an ordinary Sunday at 1pm, the place was 95% full, with a booking for 65 expected for a late lunch. They must be doing something right.
Great value and worth a visit.
Well done Nook!

“Good place for breakfast”
Reviewed April 7, 2013 via mobile

I've had breakfast here three times and each time I've had the ginger bread pancakes. Two times they were fantastic the other time a bit dry but still worth it. The service is also great and accommodating of kids.

“Return visit to an old favourite”
Reviewed March 16, 2013

It's some time since the team at the Garden Way restaurant moved and changed its style to what is now The Nook around 11 Ks from the Brisbane CBD at Jindalee. Our recent visit impressed. A busy lunch time crowd gave the well presented restaurant a buz. The three of us had excellent light meals- fish and chips of the day ( moist and crisp) , an innovative smoked salmon salad, a delicious Calamari salad with a tasty Thai influence. A cold water jug was presented and refilled regularly by enthusiastic well trained attendants.
Finished with a great coffee the total bill around $60.00.
Very good food at a price point which provided us with a pleasant surprise.
Plenty of free parking.

Will be back soon.

“New favourite breakfast place”
Reviewed February 25, 2013

Love, love, love this cafe. Lovely setting, beautifully furnished and great food. The menu is a lovely mix of traditional and gourmet and the eggs benedict is to die for. I was also envious of my boyfriend's Nook Breakfast so pinched his mushrooms which were divine! We will definitely go back...probably this weekend and with the kids in tow! Very family friendly as well.

“A Valentine's day to remember”
Reviewed February 14, 2013

We called in at The Nook for coffee and dessert. The Dessert for 2, especially for Valentine's Day, was absolutely delicious and nearly too beautiful to eat. We had a Fondue with lots of fruit and heart shaped biscuits with a lovely fondue-type dipping sauce.
