The crew was great here, and THE shuttle bus was really Nice. There's no wifi here, unless you pay for it... Rooms are small and not too good. THE vibe was cool, mostly young guests. There are a lot of Cats in this hostel!

Stayed here with two friends when we first arrived in Brisbane, we booked a 3 bed room which was ideal, it had a double bed and a bunk bed. The building itself is old but it also has allot of character which is hard to find in hostels these days.

There is a pick up and drop off service which runs regularly to the city which is handy as the city is quite far away.

One of the nicer places we stayed in Australia.

I stayed at this place for 1 night and it was disgusting. the room (8bed share) is dirty and stinks, the bedsheets stink like vomit, staff made fun of me when I complained - rude and not professional.
at least I was moved into a 4bed share at no extra cost.
the bathrooms are extremely basic, thers nothing to hang your towel when you shower, most of them have no sockets or sinks or soap or anything at all. and its dirty, too.
to reach the upper level you have to take an outdoor staircase. thats horrible in winter as it is really cold and inconvenient.
the only good thing I can tell about the place is that they run a free shuttle bus to the city.
the rest is yuk.
somewhere to stay - and feel disgusted.

Room Tip: take a smaller room the 4 bed share was OK come in summer never in winter

In town for a couple of days in Brisbane for Lions and rather pay top dollar for an average hotel room paid 79 bucks for a double room with ensuite at this backpacker joint.Loved it.Simple room with shower and toilet all I needed.Very friendly place ,south brisbane couple of kms from the casino,17 odd bucks in taxi or an easy walk.Loads of bars and restaurants nearby if you want to stay local.Plenty of cheap rooms with no ensuite if you wish.Small but clean as my mate stayed there.Give it a go ,you wont be disappointed. There is a 20 buck refundable fee for key, thats fair enough .

Room Tip: I had room 52 ,double bed, quiet .Shower a bit low but wat do u expect for 79 bucks in a central location.Very happy

A huge Queenslander, but rooms as well as the bathrooms are very small and cramped. Also, they are not heated and blankets aren't provided, so do rent one from the counter at $10 or risk waking up at night due to the freezing cold. Rooms open out to terraces with a good view of the Brisbane CBD, and the hostel operates a bus that departs every hour to South Bank.

Best thing about the hostel is it's location in West End, around which there are many excellent cafes, restaurants and bars.
