This has to be my favourite park all over the world. I never had to watch my step for lizards...

I´ve visited this park two times, in early November and late November. The first time I visited was in the afternoon and I saw hundreds of Eastern water dragons, but the second time I visited was in the early morning and spotted "only" around 20-30 dragons. The park is very colorful with nice flowers, plants and various birds. In my opinion it´s much nicer than the Botanical Gardens. There are also many places to sit and relax with a nice view of the gardens and the ponds.

A must visit while in Brisbane!

We are spoilt living next to the Botanic Gardens in Sydney. But....if there ever was another place we would like to live next to it is THIS PLACE! What a wonderful world of colour, water falls, micro climates and everything you expect to see in the Sub Tropics.
The location means walking through the Roma Street Railway Station but once you get to the other side, you enter a whole new world. Take a picnic and spend the day there or have a meal at the very popular Cafe at the entree of the park.

This is a lovely space in the city. You wouldn't know that you are in the city because it is so peaceful and serene. There are different areas to visit such as the topiary section, or the fern section (which is so cool on a hot day). There are picnic seats and barbeques and a cafe with public tiolets. It's a top spot to get away from the city noise and traffic! And it's free!

A great little corner of the city to relax quietly and spend a few hours Beautifully kept gardens and a surprising number of birds to look at.
