must see garden lands and area. spent most of a day walking around, geocaching and just enjoying the lush landscape. they packed a lot into a small space. Our family loved this place over the botanical garden even on the rainy day.

Great for a picnic or just a relaxing stroll and the food at the restaurant is good although the service is a little slow

What a beautiful place! In the middle of winter (coming from N.Z) to find such a scented, 'blooming' park with such a great variety of gardens and water features, barbecue and grassed areas for picnics. Just lovely! Pity the cafe/ restaurant was overpiced.

This is a lovely park to visit and its free! I get the train here with the kids which they love to do and then I don't have to worry about parking, but I know on the odd occasion I have driven here, there is plenty of free parking. There are 2 play parks for kids, great walks, an outside amphitheatre and loads of grassy areas to have a picnic or a kick about with the ball.
There is a small restaurant that also serves lovely ice creams and has some limited outdoor seating. There are also some toilets nearby.
The trees and flowers are beautiful and overall it is very well kept.
It can get busy in the play parks at the weekends as they aren't that big but there are plenty of other areas to run about for kids. Well worth a visit.
