We've been here to Parc Restaurant a few times for romantic dinners, lunches with friends and also high tea with my mother and I just can't fault it. The food is out of this world. Very interesting combinations, tasty and very well presented. The service has always been super friendly and mainly efficient and the atmosphere at night is very romantic but by day very serene and relaxing as there is outdoor seating and it looks over the beautiful Roma parklands. It is a little pricier than some but definitely worth it. I would highly recommend this place for a special romantic dinner for two or a relaxing lunch with a group of friends. It is a beautiful setting and quite unique. Although a smaller place, which actually makes it cosier, it is one of the best in Brisbane in my opinion.

The Roma Street Parkland is a veritable oasis of calm in the middle of Brisbane. Nice walks through parkland and planned gardens together with water features make it an excellent place to chill out for a couple of hours.

This is a truly relaxing place. Many spots to sit and lay a blanket on the ground or to have a small bite to eat; perhaps a full on BBQ for one.

Whatever you choose it is amazing. If you want to see wildlife I find the best time is early in the morning or after 5 but before 6.15pm each day.
These are the times they get out and about to find food themselves. *Do not feed the animals though.

Walking along the paths you will be see a number of information plaques or signs; there is well positioned guide paths and trails to venture out into the choice is your's.

There is also a play park are for the kids.

Depending on your personal circumstances facilities may be a little far so make sure you check them out first to plan ahead in case of an urgent need to use the bathroom.

There are places to purchase food, drinks and a little further into the train station is a newsagent with books for sale.

The parking is paid as use per hour up until 7pm I think; alternatively you can bus or train it into the Roma Street Train station alot cheaper.
Enjoy.

This is a place I always visit when in Brisbane. It's a great spot to relax after a flight from the UK before getting a train north. First stop a flat white in the cafe then an hour or two strolling around. I particularly like the fern garden with its damp tropical atmosphere - takes me back to when I worked in the Cameroons in West Africa. Very handy for dropping off baggage at the station before calling at the cafe - or just a few minutes from the local hotels.
