We went there as it is one of the few that are open late in the evening. Weather is cold and there is nothing better than a bowl of hot soup noodle. Very satisfying and warming. Taste is ok nothing to shout about.

Ate here after finding it listed in 'The Good Guide' under cheap eats for the city. Bit of a walk from Queen St to the pleasant location on the corner of the 'Boeing' building, with an interesting vista across the road to a lush embankment covered in twisting tree roots and vines.
I had the red ramen with pork, and as previous reviews have mentioned, you do only get one very thin slice of meat on top of the noodles, and half an egg. The menu did have an option to add extra egg/ meat if you want, for an extra few dollars. I found it to be enough, as the pork meat is very rich and fatty, so just a slice was suffice to add flavour to the meal. Noodles were a nice texture, service was prompt, broth was tasty although next time I'd probably go for the spicier option. Price a little on the steep side (around $16 for bowl of ramen), but they did have weekday lunch specials on a board for $9.90 if you're after lunch for under $10.

Delicious and authentic ramen with a great selection of beers. Serving was on the small side, but quality makes up for size. Staff are attentive and friendly.

This is good quality food, slightly overpriced, in a nice, relaxed setting. The selection of beers is interesting, too. I had the Orion on tap and it was delicous and light - perfect for summer.

After reading a great menu on their website, was looking forward to dinner however very disappointing. The broth served with the noodle dishes just tasted like stock, the soft sand crab unappealing however the egg was delicious. Worst of all the service was very very slow. Two young girls trying to serve that number of people was a bit ridiculous. The slow service took away from our whole dining experience. For the type of venue and service provided, it was overpriced.
