I stayed here overnight for a recent business trip, and also used the meeting facilities in the hotel to hold an event.
I arrived outside the hotel in the middle of a torrential downpour, but the response I got from the staff upon check in was sunny, warm and friendly. Other reviewers have commented on the staff and I would concur - I felt very welcome.
My room was a corner room, small and oddly shaped, but perfectly adequate for an overnight stay. My colleague was located immediately next door and had a one bedroom suite, which was spacious with a lounge area, a balcony and a little kitchenette. This room would have been great for a longer stay or a weekend when some self catering was preferred.
We ate breakfast in the downstairs cafe, which was good and offers a buffet as well as separate dishes if you prefer.
The meeting rooms we used were well equipped with all the audio visual we needed, refreshments brought in to our timetable, and lunch served out on the balcony. Anything we needed was quickly attended to (for example flickering lightbulbs)
The hotel is within easy reach of other facilities in Brisbane CBD, and I would recommend it to anyone looking to stay in inner Brisbane.More
