The Sebel Suites are ideally located in the centre of Brisbane. Close to the Queen Street Mall and restaurants/cafes.

Check in staff were excellent. The room was on the smaller side but it was on the corner so had a good view of the city. The ceilings are quite low...so low that when in the shower (that was slightly raised) I could easily touch the ceiling (and I'm not that tall!).

Major downside was that there was no wifi only hard wired internet.

Stayed for 3 nights and found it very nice and clean. Room service and house keeping were fantastic and were trustworthy which is really important to me as I was on a work trip. Great location- staff were helpful calling cabs and had good customer service skills. Some of the room furnishings were a bit shabby and my lounge room light didn't work-was not too concerned as several lamps were provided. Overall a nice hotel.

Stayed here for a month while i was looking for a place to live in Brisbane. Great location, central to everything in the CBD as well as most of the buses, trains out of the city were a bit further away. The room was comfy and cleaned everyday, the kitchenette area was fine for cooking pasta and soup but thats about it, it only had hot plates and a microwave, no oven. It did have a fridge though. I got internet free, but i have heard other people paying for it and i know in other hotel aparements in the CBD it can become quite expensive i.e 20 dollars a day. The bedroom was seperate to the kitchen and the sitting room, it also had a small balcony

Didn't have a car to park or see the swimming pool so can't comment there.

Overall it was fine, great for its purpose and good location. i wasn't paying so i can't tell you how great it was value for money but for 30 days it was around 6K AUD so not cheap.

Stayed in The Sebel for one night in March 2011. We did not make any reservations as we were trying out a few hotels in the charlotte street area. We we pleasantly suprised to find that their walk in rate for a studio apartment(which is like a standard room) costs less than $150 aud a night. Most of the other places we went to went nothing less than $200 aud a night. I would admit that the room was abit small but the decor and the interior was great. The bed was really comfy too. Initially when we went up to our room, the keycard couldnt work so we had to go down to the reception to get another key. The manager assisted us by using his master key and assured us that the faulty lock would get fixed but however they were not able to resolve the issue thus we had to move rooms. Thankfully the other room didnt have any issues. The location of this hotel is great. Just a street away from the queen st shopping mall,a few bars and restaurants across the street. The treasury casino is a 5 min walk which was great as we never had to drive or take a cab anywhere. Service was good with friendly staff and we were given a late check out. We had a pleasant stay in the sebel and would recommend it to anyone planning on visiting brisbane.

Stayed 2 nights in a premium 1 bedroom apartment. Suite was very clean with nice modern decor. Balcony has stunning views of the CBD. Location wise, you would be hard pressed to find better. Staff on reception were warm and friendly.

Slightly too costly, and would probably not bother with going premium if I stayed here in the future.

Would certainly recommend this establishment and will place it on my Brisbane shortlist.

This is my preferred hotel for business trips to Brisbane.
The rooms are modern and have just been refurbished. The desk setup is practical and works well. However, there was no convient power point near the bed for my phone charger.
The restaurant is great for breakfast, but the room service menu is limited, and a bit on the 'arty' side. Try the club sandwiches for lunch

This was one of the nicer places I have stayed in but not the best in Brisbane. I got a special deal paying about$160 a night to stay here. The beds were comfy, the a/c settings worked well, staff were friendly and facilities and amenities were all good.

I was disappointed as the website promised a heated pool and it sure didn't feel heated when I got in. Was ice cold with a lustry breeze going, so if you are like me and looking forward to a relaxing swim in a nice warm pool, then think ensure the pool is going to be heated at the time you want to go swimming.

The doors were incredibly noisy! I am used to this having stayed at many hotels, but these actually scared me at first they were so loud upon hearing the neighbour shutting their doors.

All in all I would rate this a 4.5 star experience and would stay there again.
