Only stayed a couple of nights but great location, beautiful big room. Be fantastic to be able to stay longer. Very happy with the service and would love to stay there again but next time with family. Room felt a tad lonely all to myself.

Room Tip: I actually did not use swimming pool or fitness centre, so I cannot comment on them.

I have been staying here for over 10 years and wouldn't stay anywhere else!
The only fault I can find (and it is really just an annoyance), is that the key cards used for the lift and the rooms are often temperamental and this can be frustrating.

Dear SM Paterson
Thank you for being such a fantastic regular over the last 10 years! We now use high density magnetic key cards which are more reliable. Having said that we did have an issue with an encoder about 4 weeks ago which has since been rectified.

my in-laws stayed here for 3 nights recently. I have also stayed previously. It is a beautiful hotel set in more old world style. Rooms are VERY spacious with sink and microwave, table, desk and chair in the rooms we have stayed in. The bathrooms do have the high sided bathtub but they told us they are being renovated in 2015 to have flat showers which is better for older people. Great food places downstairs and out onto the street Myer centre literally across the road. In room breakfast great also! Highly recommend

Dear SJE68
I am pleased that you and your in-laws enjoyed staying at Royal Albert. I think more and more discerning travellers are looking for a boutique hotel experience, particularly if they have spacious rooms and are in a prime location.

My husband and I have stayed in Brisbane many times but this was the first time we have stayed at the Royal Albert. We were incredibly impressed and surprised!
It has never interested us before because from the outside it is not very enticing!
The room was a deluxe bedroom which was actually a suite consisting of a separate bedroom lounge room, laundry and complete kitchen with a large refrigerator and mini bar.
It was beautifully decorated and well maintained.
This beautiful historic building was such a delight! it was like stepping back in time! It has been beautifully restored and maintained. It is right in the heart of Brisbane so close to everything.
The staff were all incredibly helpful and friendly. We will definately stay again.

Room Tip: We asked for a quite room.We were on the 3rd floor and it was very quiet.

Dear Suzy
Thank you for your thoughtful comments.
I know the Perry House building is not overly eye catching from the outside, but did you know that for many years from 1913 it was the tallest building in Brisbane? I am pleased that you discovered Royal Albert and were pleasantly surprised when the double doors swept open to reveal our beautiful foyer and staff.
We look forward to welcoming you back as a regular!

This hotel is beautiful it is right in the heart of Brisbane city. We had a 2 bedroom suite, the second bedroom was very small with only 1 single bed in it and a side table. There is a laundry with both washer and dryer. The kitchen is large with everything you need in it. There is water and fresh milk provided. The loungeroom is beautiful very well appointed room. 10 minutes easy walk to South Bank.
Best place to stay if you want location location.

Dear Geraldine
Thank you for your thoughtful review. All of our 2 bedroom suites have a single bed in the second bedroom. If you need to sleep more the sub penthouse apartments have a full second bedroom as well as ensuite off the main and are in fact twice the size of the 2 bedroom suites.
I know fresh milk is a dying art but it is nice to know it is appreciated.
