The hotel was perfectly positioned near the Queen Street Mall where we had a wedding to attend. Our room was an upgrade to a deluxe one bed apartment, however, this proved to not be such a great thing. We hadn't realised our stay corresponded with St Patrick's Day and our room overlooked a club that gave way to noise and corresponding traffic (taxis) until daylight! Not much sleep had until after daylight, unfortunately. The room had a fancy coffee machine, but no instructions which was disappointing as we really needed a caffine hit by the time we did wake. Our room had a couple of faults which we reported in the morning (no tv remote, dripping tap) which we thought staff should have noticed when preparing the room. The buffet breakfast was sufficient but not up to standards of other city hotels.
We did like the charm of the hotel, and the staff were very obliging, so would give it another try but would request a room on the opposite side.

Room Tip: Request a room that doesn't over look the Down Under club if you want to sleep through the night...

Thank you for staying with us and for providing feedback.
We certainly appreciate that St Patrick's Day is traditionally a popular day for those seeking to enjoy themselves, and it is disappointing that your sleep was interupted. We appreciate the feedback regarding certain items in the room, and have since had these checked and fixed. We also appreciate your positive comments regarding our team here, and we look forward to wlecoming you back.

I went to see a concert and stayed at this hotel for one night.

The staff were all very friendly, we arrived early so we were allowed to stash our bags while we go shopping. It is so close to Queen St Mall, the Treasury Casino and right across from the train station. Such easy access when just coming from the airport!

Room wasn't overly big, and the view wasn't fantastic (out the window we looked into offices), but it suited our purpose. I will say it was overpriced though, at about $250 per night I've experienced much better. However, for a short stay it sufficed.

Another thing I was puzzled about was their air con...set on freezing cold and non adjustable that would keep turning itself on and off all night...this is why I did not get a good night's sleep.

we were visiting friends in Brisbane and had our travel agent book this hotel we were to have a studio with a two beds, when we got there we were astonished at what they had put us in,there was a small refrigerator and a microwave, two single beds so small neither one could sleep putting them together was not an option, there was a closet but the bed was so close you couldn't open the door and the bathroom was so small the door hit the commode and couldn't be opened, window was so small and high on the wall you couldn't see out nor open .we were charged $300.oo per night what a rip off. We checked with the front desk and asked if there had been a mistake in booking, they said no and they offered to up grade us for more money, we were exhausted and spent the night, I slept on the floor as it was more comfortable than the bed. We checked out the next day and was told there would be no refund, so I guess we were just had, never again though. The staff were ok but had to go by their rules, we opted to stay at the airport the last night and found it a grade above the hotel for comfort.

Room Tip: I would not advise anyone to stay here at all for sure not room 16 on second floor.

Thank you for staying with us and for providing feedback.
We are disappointed your stay did not meet your expectations but unfortunately on the
night you stayed, the hotel was fully booked in the room type that had been booked for you and the room allocated was the last available.
This particular room is slightly smaller than other studio rooms but this room type and bedding
configuration was exactly what your agent booked. Unfortunately due to the hotels occupancy that night we were unable to assist you with a larger room or one with a queen sized bed.
With reference to the rate you mention, I will contact you privately on this matter as it
appears to be much higher than we would anticipate.

Great location, lovely rooms, great service. Directly across from Central Station and only 10 minute walk from Roma Street Station. 400mt walk to Queen Street Mall. Deluxe Studio Room is definitely the way to go, lovely room, and no noise either. Staff are great and service was exceptional. The Dining and bar area definitely a must....Food was fantastic!
Stayed in both the Deluxe Studio Room and Studio Room, Delux would be my choice for more than 1 night but the Studio was all we needed for a 1 night stay, Both lovely clean and tidy rooms.

Room Tip: We were on 3rd floor on right side of building in a Delux Studio room for first visit...... GREAT...

This is a nice small hotel at a great location, literally across the road from the train station. The rooms are fine, recently renovated. One bedroom apartment was great and very quiet (no windows in the bedroom though, so choose wisely).

This hotel is in a great location opposite central station and a 5 minute walk to the main shopping area of Brisbane. The room was very well appointed and extremely clean. Staff were very helpful. Downside is the particular room I had was extremely small but it was for one night only but for a longer stay it would be too small.Breakfast was basic.

This was a business trip and I was traveling with four other colleagues and I these comments are a reflection of our discussions at breakfast:
- Noisy. I was on the 4th floor and facing away from the main road (Ann St) and was woken up a few times with pub patrons / street cleaners etc. I thought that I had left a window open, but I discovered that double glazing (to cut the noise?) had been fitted but that it was useless.
- Broadband. I travel a lot internationally and this has to set a 'low mark' for a broadband offering. A suggestion to fellow travellers...don't even bother to follow the instructions in your room but get assistance from reception straight away!

Other than that, it is a great location (close to restaurants and bars, and across from the Central Station), and the rooms were well set out - probably suit a family on holiday as the room had a full kitchen and nice lounge
