Do not subscribe to Jimojo hot spot when you are at the pool. It works fine when you subscribe but then it is impossible to connect afterwards. They are a joke and useless.

Room Tip: Get an 01 or 03 room above 10 higher the better, do not accept a room on the PD pool deck level.

Dear Lindsay D,

Thank you for your feedback – it is great to see you were able to make use of our fantastic outdoor pool deck. I do recommend that on your next stay with us you connect to only the Quay West wireless network which can be accessed in the Lobby. This is available to all our guests on a complimentary basis.

Best regards,

Christopher Stokoe

My husband and I stayed one night as we were departing the state after a short visit. The room was lovely, very clean and comfortable with a fantatsic view over the park. Check in was fast, friendly and efficient and the valet parking was very handy. We will happily book in here again next time we are back this way.

We stayed as a group of friends. The location is fantastic! We walked to Eagle St Peir for a winey seafood lunch, then into the city for a bit of shopping. Champagne on the balcony watching the Botanic Gardens before heading out via a cheap taxi ride to the Valley for cocktails and dinner at Cloudland. What a great location.
The room was clean, the bed was comfortable and there were more than enough towels. I love a mini bar with mini bottles - even if they are too expensive to use :)
Valet parking was perfect, and the entry into the suites is quite glamourous. The lady from reception could use a smile now and then but the rest of the staff were amazing.
Will definitely be staying again.

Our family really enjoyed our stay at Quay West Apartments. The apartment was spacious with two bedrooms, two bathrooms and a large lounge, dining, kitchen area. There were fabulous views of the city, botanical gardens and river from all viewpoints. We were only 4 blocks from the city centre and about 5 blocks walk to the Eagle St pier and Sunday markets. The main bathroom was a little small but we were pleasantly surprised with the prompt service provided by the staff and the complementary continental breakfast provided in the downstairs restaurant. The Citycat ferry terminal was only a 5 min walk away.

Room Tip: Ask for a room on a higher floor. We were on the 18th floor and it had very little street noise.

Stayed in late March 2012 with wife and 2-year old in a two bedroom apartment. Reserved a 'premium' room (botanic gardens view), which now comes with continental breakfast and (wired) broadband included. The apartment was very large and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful and responded promptly to problems (such as lack of blackout curtains in one room). We used the pool deck a number of times and it was very pleasant. The gym seemed well equipped but I did not use it. Location for CBD is excellent: a short walk to most offices, Queen St Mall, but located on the botanic gardens with a fantastic view and a bike/jogging track on your doorstep. Traffic noise may be a problem for lower floors. Parking is pricey but, hey, this is the CBD and I expected that. The smaller bedroom in the garden view 2-bedroom apartment does have some noise from the elevator. This is not a five star hotel, really, but is an excellent serviced apartment (daily servicing) with hotel-like services. Wouldn't be worth the price for a single traveller/single night but highly recommended if you need more than one night and a lot of space to work/for family.

Room Tip: Higher floors probably quieter. "Premium" rooms have breakfast and wired broadband included. Otherwise, join the GHA loyalty program first, for cheap/free broadband.
