Used to love this place but I think it is time for a facelift. Rooms are getting a little old and tired, bathroom getting mouldy. Breakfast was okay but be careful when ordering coffee. It is not included in the full breakfast cost. It is charged separately. Other than that, staff are friendly and helpful.

we have stayed previously at the Novotel so when we chose to attend the Paul McCartney concert we booked one night at the Novotel Brisbane as it is close to Central station where we would arrive from Caloundra. The deal we had was just $165.00 which include two Buffet Breakfasts which I figure would be worth $25.00 each so that makes accommodation $115.00 which is a good accommodation rate in this time of year.

Room was well appointed and clean and was on the 6th floor, room was the same as the one we had last trip, that was on the top floor, so must all be pretty much the same throughout the Hotel. Hotel is in Creek Street Brisbane and is convenient walking distance to CBD, SunCorp Stadium using QR from Central to Roma Street Stations and using the walkways via 'The Barracks" Southbank using the Ferries and if you are a senior then the GoCard concessions are amazing.. GREAT LOCATION.

Good Hotel and great value for money. We are going to Brisbane again Friday week and staying at the Sofitel, above Central Station so watch for another trip advisor on the Sofitel.

As Accor members we mostly stay at hotels within the group. I don’t normally complain but this is the most disappointing stay we’ve had. Definitely not 5 star standard. No friendly concierge, had another member push past whilst queuing for checkin. Got to the lift and our cards didnt work. Had them checked and was told the battery in reader was probably flat (well how about changing it). Finally got to room. Very average. We requested a view which we didnt get. Breakfast buffet was only just a buffet. Minimal choice although the baked beans were very flavoursome. Only scrambled eggs. Not sure if any other choices as waiters didnt come near us or any other guests. Definitely wont be staying here again which is the first time I’ve said that.

I am really sorry this stay did not meet your expectation. To advise Novotel Brisbane is a 4.5 star hotel so I am actually unsure if you are reviewing the correct property. Further, we advertise our choice of ala carte breakfast eggs on every table in The Pantry restaurant so again, perhaps you have accidentally confused us with another hotel.

Bedding in the rooms were really comfortable and homely. The rest of the room was tired and in need of refurbishment. The bathrooms are clearly old and other furnishings in the room dated. Bar and restaurant area appears to have had some attention (although only cosmetic) but for location and pricing, this property is missing an opportunity to capitalise.

The front desk staff were friendly and courteous. I arrived from the airport couple of hours earlier than the check in time. I request if possible for me to check in early since I was tired from my long flight and fortunate they were helpful and check me in early without any extra cost. Next to this hotel a big shopping mall where you can find practivally anything you want as well as lots of restaurants and bars.
