While the Novotel is not my favourite hotel in Brisbane, it's certainly up there on the list!
The location is a little bit out of the city, which means it's quieter while still being a short stroll to anywhere you really want to be.
Rooms are nice and have always been clean and tidy whenever I've stayed. Staff have always been good.
Value is probably where this hotel is not as good as others, as the prices are usually a bit higher than others, but if you can get a good deal it is a great hotel.
The location of the hotel - Brisbane CBD - is perfect for business trips. Staff are friendly and the rooms sparsely furnished but clean. TV was tiny, and the channel selection was limited - clarity of the picture was average.
Bathroom facilities had everything and was clean, but dated.
Free parking was a bonus!
Have stayed at the Hotel before and once again were not disappointed. Staff were very friendly and helpful with booking in and out, effortless. Rooms are good size, very clean with a comfortable bed and great facilities. Good parking and very close to City if you go through the Railway Station and use their lifts and esculators it is also very easy,
We stayed in the Novotel Brisbane, CBD, for 3 nights. We were a family of 4. We took a taxi from the airport to the hotel the fare was $53. The hotel is almost on top of Central railway station and it was about 15mins easy walk to Queen St Mall, also quite convenient; surrounding venues you can estimate from this reference. Rooms are simple and clean and we had 2 double beds which were comfortable. There was a pool which we did not try this trip.
The 3 Macs in the foyer and free wifi there were convenient for checking your email and tourist ideas etc, there was a printer there also but I did not try it. Plenty of seating in this area. A restaurant & bar are available also.
You could hear some noise from adjacent rooms. Curtains do not really block out the morning sun, but overall I was not disturbed by these things..
