Look you get what you pay for! We booked 2 rooms for our family for an overnight stay before going flying out the next day. It’s an older style hotel and not flash or fancy. But it was clean, bed was comfy, little fridge and TV, all we could want. The only downside I could say was there is a serious lack of power points in there! Most things were hard wired to the wall! Which made it difficult for us to charge our devices! Also there was no room service and the restaurant was closed on the Sunday. But there was restaurants and a 7/11 very nearby. Overall for only $104 and with a $1 breakfast, it’s excellent budget style accomodation!

I stayed for two nights on a business trip and couldn't fault it for the very reasonable price. Good mid-sized room, wide range of food at breakfast, close to city attractions and an easy flat walk from Roma Street station that links you directly to the airport for a $15 rail fare.

I booked this Ibis in error, i intended for the one at the airport so the $50 cab fare wasn't a good start. My fault, not theirs.
As we had a 6am flight the next morning we only needed a place to shower and sleep. Unfortunately, neither of these were experienced. Apparently, the hot water system in the hotel had been turned off for maintenance and hence no hot water plus the shower head was filthy. The maintenance team came after about 45mins after we complained about no hot water only to be told it would be about 2hrs. Ibis have a 15min guarantee to fix any issues but that was not honoured.
Our room 1534 was right next to the lift and under the stairs to the 16th floor ( no lift access to 16) so we were kept awake all night with guests coming and going.Room was tiny which is what you expect with Ibis, however, the bed was really comfortable and the room clean. Ok for an overnight stay but avoid room 1534

Room Tip: Avoid room 1534 and anything near a lift or stairwell.

Overall we had a pleasant experience staying here recently. It was pretty much just a bed for an early flight in the morning.
Arrived early and they were happy to keep our luggage safe as our room wasn't ready (we arrived early and headed out for the day).

Abit disappointed about the parking, luckily we didn't need to take the car out until 2am so only the one $17.00 fee, not the $36.00 fee they offer for unlimited exits and re entry.

The room itself had a terrible view, but was clean and tidy, nice comfy beds and simple clean bathroom. It suited the 4 of us as we were only onsite for maybe 10 hours total. We were pretty easy customers, no breakfast etc needed.

My only complaint would be, the walls are way to thin. Our neighbors that backed onto our beds were so kind to be practicing the cello, ALOT....and anytime they closed a door we felt it. Maybe I was just grumpy as we had two kids and getting up at 2am, but enough that I don't think I would visit again.
Also, the mini fridge hummed and vibrated quite loudly against the unit it was in.

Information on restuarants close by and their own onsite would be handy. The only infomation we found in the room was a small menu. Never been to brisbane we ended up trekking for about 30mins to find somewhere suitable for the children to eat that wasnt maccas.

Overall, clean, tidy, friendly service :)

Room Tip: Ask if you want a view. Bigger room if available.
