“I just like Science Centres”

Great to see hands-on exhibits for young children as well as the Science Fiction based exhibit for the older visitors. Beware there is an entry fee though because unlike the Museum in which it is housed there is a charge. I liked the rotating tunnel which was so effective that I felt dizzy for a long while after it.

One thing which was missing was staff to help but maybe this is because the exhibits are fairly self explanatory.

A hands on learning experience for young and old alike. Science is not stuffy here at the Sciencentre.

“Great fun to be had”
Reviewed December 1, 2013

I loveld this place, me and my partner visited this along with the rest of the museum. It is good value that overal for a trip that lasts well over a couple of hours of exploring only comes to around $15. There were a couple of small experiments not functioning properly but overal it was captivating and a whole lot of fun.

“the kids will love it”
Reviewed November 29, 2013

As a teacher I've taken many groups to the Sciencentre. Without exception the children thoroughly enjoyed this educational experience. It was so much fun they didn't realize they were learning. There's lots of other activities nearby and the riverside is a great place to have a picnic after your visit and the children can swim or simply play on the grassed areas.

“great educational entertainment for all the family , children never want to leave”

Easy access by all modes of public transport. The children learn so much and science has never been so interesting. A must for weekends and school holidays. The interactive activities are the favourite with my family.
