“Big Kids Have Fun Too!”
Reviewed October 9, 2013

I must admit to adoring the Sciencentre - my son has an intellectual disability and he loves this place, and my favourite things about taking him are that while he is adult sized he functions on a child's level - and there are things that he enjoys as much as any child.

I'm a huge child at heart, and the exhibits are hands-on and appropriate for all ages and abilities.

Located not far from GoMA and QAG, it's another must-see place in you're in the area.

“The kids love it”
Reviewed September 4, 2013

We visit the science centre almost once a month. My step-kids, both boys, absolutely love it. It is so interactive and there is a permanent section as well as a changing feature section that teaches a new aspect with each new display. It's fun for adults and kids. Overall, good value for money. It can be quite busy so chose the time you go well.

“Four hours and counting.....”
Reviewed August 16, 2013

I nearly fell over through lack of food and still the kids refused to come away!
The entry price was reasonable for three of us but I didn't realise quite how much there was to do. There are some extremely interesting exhibits and everything is hands on. They tried out different things over and over again. There was a ten yard dash which kept my kids and another school load of children happy for an hour! You could make a whirlpool, a flying beach ball and get sick being wizzed around in a chair! There were endless puzzles and games, things to go on, or in and if you wanted to, the adults could just sit down and let the kids get on with it. The light show was interesting, but manned by a very nervous college student. I felt he needed a little more training before being let loose on the public, but the kids all enjoyed it, nonetheless.
Free bag drop and buggy parking, restaurant on site, although a little pricey. Knowledgeable and happy staff, as in most Aussie attractions.
