It was a fabulous day with plenty to keep the kids entertained and educated. Can't wait to go again.

“Great time with the family”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 30, 2012

After arriving in Brisbane on Xmas Eve, we decided to take the kids (13 & 11) to the Sciencentre. What a great time we had, I think I had the most fun out of the family. Children of all ages were there and I don't think I seen one disappointed look on any face. The staff also conduct shows to explain the way some things work e.g we were treated to a show about noise.

This is well worth a visit and one that the family can enjoy.

“Fantastic school holiday fun”

One of the best inside holiday fun activities for hot Queensland days. The kids loved it (and adults). Lots to do and play with. Very hands on, great for kids of all ages.

“Needs more girls!!!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 26, 2012

Where are all those lovely young girl scientists? They're thin on the ground whenever we visit here. Which is a shame. Please, take your daughters. They need to dig science, too.
A Sciencentre annual family pass is value if you live close and have nerdy kids.
I know upkeep is hard, but some exhibits need to be attended to quicker than they are. Usually there's around 85% (my guess, totally unscientific) of machines working. Is that a good average, comparably? I remember visiting San Francisco's Exploratorium a long time ago, and everything worked. But that place is probably the geektown standard bearer, no?
