This building has been well maintained and exhibits the way life was for the Past State Governors, and prior to that the Lieutenat Governors of Queensland. I have been here several times with my own children then later with their children, and now with two of my great grand children. Definitely worth a visit. Make your visit in the AM then move on to the historic Breakfast Creek Hotel for a meal and XXXX beer off the Keg.

This is truly a magnificent place to visit. From Reg Lindsay's Country Music show days until today this house is still showing the great history we have in Brisbane. Settled on the Brisbane River it is a great venue for weddings and beautiful photography.

This building is one of the iconic Brisbane landmarks and deserves a visit when you come to Brisbane (or even if you live here). The grounds are right by the river and are imaccualately kept, and is popular wedding venue.

Set on a bend on the river is Newstead House. The land around it is pretty but the house itself, while historic, is nothing special.
