“Clock tower at City Hall”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 22, 2014

My 4 year old daughter and I went up the clock tower at City Hall yesterday. It was a nice little 15 minute tour with a very helpful and good natured guide. The view from up the top is great and I only wish we could have spent more than 5 minutes up there. Unfortunate that the website said booking not required but when we turned up we had to book for a later time. Not a big issue as we went to lunch in between but I would have preferred to be able to call or email and book - which I think is very useful for those with children.

“A great revamp of a Grand Old Lady”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 18, 2014

Did the free escorted tour of City Hall - luckily we were able to join one without booking beforehand probably due to the fact it was a quiet day - well worth it! Learned so much I didn't know despite having visited the grand Old Lady many times. Clock Tower worth a visit too. Great new museum with lots of additional info on the Brisbane River plus other displays. Plenty of comfy areas to rest. Glad this Brisbane icon has been given the revamp she so rightly deserved.

“Extremely interesting”

What a beautiful building housing lots and lots of memorabilia, painting and photographs of how Brisbane was in the old days. It houses the original concert hall prior to QPAC being built.

5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 7, 2014

I enjoyed a 4 day break in December in Brisbane
It was my first time as a visitor

I found it interesting, Bohiemum and all round just a great place to stroll and people watch

The river meanders thru the town lending charachter and affords a nice walk along its banks
The city centre / town hall was a great building as were the squarares surrounding it.

Even the people were nice- Lovely city.

“Great building in a nice lively square.”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 15, 2013 via mobile

The Brisbane city hall is definitely one of the top attractions in Brisbane, located in the heart of the city halfway between the train station Roma Street and Central Station. The building itself is very huge and old fashion, it seems to have some historical dating than modern urban planning of the city. Unfortunately I ha not time to come in and take a peek but I know for a fact that inside there is a museum. The square below is really spacious, with lots of bars and cafes, and like every corner of Brisbane is full of people. Truly a beautiful piece of architecture. A must see.
