The children loved the little lake where we sat and enjoyed lunch surrounded by local birds and water dragons. The ferns, cactus, bonsai and dome areas were interesting and beautiful. We didn't get to the Japanese gardens as we ran out of time so cannot comment on this. It is a lovely interesting spot for all ages with botanical interest or not.

We were in Brisbane for a business trip and had a free day, so caught the bus to the Botanic Gardens...a pleasant ride.
The gardens were well tended and it was great to see all the tropical things we can't grow at home.
Well worth a visit and walk around...great way to spend a long afternoon.

We were somewhat disappointed. This is a beautiful park, but does not really rate alongside other Botanic Gardens we have visited.
At 3pm on a Friday afternoon the cafe was closed, so was the information booth.
