We chose this hotel as it was close to the RNA show grounds in Brisbane. It is located on Gregory Terrace and is quite close to the museum and Royal Brisbane & Women's Hospitals. Because it is in the outskirts of the city there are no shops/restuarants nearby .... however we enjoyed the 10-15 minute walk to a pub on Boundary Street taking in the architecture of the surrounding houses.

Pros:
* Pretty clean and quiet enough
* Free parking
* A/C system works fine, can be noisy
* Staff was nice and held our luggage, but also tried to give us someone else's when retrieved later

Cons:
* No free wifi or breakfast
* Location on the fringe of Brisbane, not as convenient as advertised
* No mini-fridge

i stayed here over night with my daughter as she needed to go to the Royal childrens hospital. I found the room clean and tidy and i liked the fact that i travelled all day and could order room service. It was only a 6 minute walk to the hospital so i saved on public transport. Would stay here again.

Excellent value for modern, clean accommodation.
Staff were very friendly and accommodating (& funny!)
The room was clean with modern & new furniture & individual artwork, functional and great value. Great bed!
Happy to recommend.
20 mins walk (with some serious hills) or a cheap taxi to the city centre for a range of eating/drinking/entertainment options. Certainly the best value I could find for this location.

Room Tip: Unless you're a smoker ask for a room not next to a smoking balcony and not an adjoining room unless booking the 2nd for kids - as there's no sound insulation. (staff were happy to move us but couldn't have if everyone had checked in) Call for the garage code on approach for an easier check in.

Is probably a nice enough hotel but ended up having to book another room at another hotel after Hotwire advertised this as a 'CBD' hotel as one of their non-refundable 'Secret' deals. It's shameful they advertised (or allowed Hotwire to advertise) as CBD hotel when they're not even close and transport options not that accessible (they are technically close, but not for useful purposes - no-one looking for a CBD hotel would book here).
