This is a nice Hotel in a great location , staff are one of the most friendly and efficient I have had the pleasure to deal with, the management must be well liked and respected by all the staff we came into contact with. Left my jeans here and they were more than happy to post back for me, many thanks.
I will be back for sure.

The no. 1 reason we stay in a hotel is for good nights sleep. If you're stone deaf, then the Hilton might be for you. My wife and I are seasoned travelers and have stayed in hundreds of hotels over many years. We used to stay at the nearby Sheraton (25 nights+ p.a. some years) however when it re-branded Soffitel we tried maybe a dozen other Brisbane hotels and serviced apartments but tend to keep gravitating back to the Soffitel. Having only ever stayed once in the Brisbane Hilton in the early 90s, I was pleased to read in my Hilton Honors program blurb publicity about multi-million dollar major renovations. The always impressive foyer/atrium and public areas have freshened up. The high floor room was still small, but tastefully upgraded including a glass screened shower. Check-in was robotic and later I had to ask twice to get the bed made with a blanket instead of duvee. I booked and paid extra for access to the executive lounge, which looks like a couple of converted rooms on a high floor. On arrival at 5pm I headed up for a beer and was told service didn't start till 6, so I went to the lobby bar where a bright pleasant young waitress was the only highlight of the staff. I read the wine list and was disappointed to see only one Queensland wine had made the list. Time some of these hotel managers spent a bit more time in the close regional areas such as the Granite Belt or Scenic Rim and served up some quality local drops rather than ho-hum Kiwi imports or the stuff the big wine reps trot round. I was going to order a second drink but the cologne of the waiter clearing the glass was so overwhelming he just about knocked me out of my seat so I retreated to the room. Around 6 my wife joined me and we went up to the so called executive lounge which was packed with punters including a woman with a squawky infant. The space was hot with so many people after one quick refreshment we headed off to dinner at nearby Tatts to celebrate our anniversary. When we returned, the room was freezing so I went to turn the aircon down only to find the fan was already on low. The chugging sounded like we were in the bowels of an old ferry-boat and it was impossible to get to sleep so in the wee small hours I shut it off - which led to an air-less stuffy night punctuated by either the porn-channel or audible adult action taking place next door. The next morning after a thoroughly restless night, we discovered the smart looking glass shower leaked like a sieve and the fall of the tiles lets water track and pool in the middle of the floor. There was only one small soap, but adequate towels and robes. The breakfast buffet was sparse for fruit, however the staff brought fresh bananas on request and the cooked food well presented. I sort of feel sorry for big hotel property owners trying to upgrade constrained by small rooms but including $50 for parking it made an overnight in a small, noisy room close to $500 and with disengaged staff, I get over any sympathy quickly. The Soffitel is still on top with similar room rates and a incomparably superior executive lounge and far better room comfort-experience.

Room Tip: A renovated one WITH NEW AIRCON unless you're deaf

Only stayed one night -but location is excellent with direct access via the lifts into the Queen Street Mall. Bed was very comfortable - fairly small room - but ample desk space and nicely appointed bathroom. The outstanding memory is the service - the staff are professional and accommodating - from check in and conciereg servcies, to the great service at the well-presented buffet breakfast. A nice treat.

The Brisbane Hilton is an excellent Brisbane CBD hotel, which offers professional and hospitable service, comfortable accommodation and a great location, in the heart of the Queen Street Mall.

The rooms offer the usual Hilton facilities, including a good-sized working desk!

The Executive Lounge offers superb hospitality, and gives the business traveller a very useful base- both for conducting business, and relaxing at the end of the day.

The breakfast buffet is excellent, with the opportunity to have freshly cooked eggs- as you like them.

The staff are attentive and friendly.

It is always a pleasure to stay at this hotel.

Room Tip: Executive Lounge is well worthwhile

A very good location in CBD. Room was very spacious and excellent service. The bed as most of the Hilton Hotels was very comfortable with choice of pillows. It is always nice to have surprises waiting in the room once you are back after a tiring days work. Miniature of Bundaburg was the best.

Overall a very comfortable stay with good service. Nice lounge and friendly staff.
